Tonight Tranmere play League 2 outfit, Macclesfield, the prize being a place in the semi-finals of the Northern Section of the LDV Vans Trophy. Tranmere are looking to continue their good form. It is now the Rovers last chance of any silverware at all in cup competitions this season. After Saturday's win over struggling MK Dons, Rovers are in a very positive mood, and see tonight's game as a big one for a chance to win a trophy for exactly 10 years. You would think Tranmere would have no problem tonight, but that's what everyone thought against Peterborough when we came out with an embarrasing defeat. But this will hopefully all change. We are a strong team, full of experience from the likes of Mark Rankine, Mike Jackson, Theo Whitmore and, captain, Jason McAteer. But no way can we underestimate Macclesfield.
