For their next League Two match, Rovers make the long trip to Devon to face Exeter City.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When tonight's Papa John's Trophy game against the Manchester City Academy side is over, Rovers will be looking ahead to the weekend as they make the long trip to Devon to face Exeter City in League Two.

The game will be a tough test for Keith Hill's men following the end of their recent lengthy unbeaten run at the hands of Walsall at Prenton Park on Saturday thanks to a 3-1 defeat.

Whilst their opponents Exeter also lost their last game, a 5-3 goalfest away at Cheltenham Town, the Devon side currently sit three points above Tranmere in the League Table in fifth place and will be looking to progress further by beating Tranmere on their own patch.
