Rovers Drawn at Home in FA Cup Second Round

In Monday night's FA Cup Second Round draw, Rovers were drawn at home to Non-League opposition.....

 

 

 

 

 

After a superb win against League One side Accrington Stanley on Saturday, Tranmere have been rewarded with a home tie against Non League side Brackley Town for a chance to join the Premier League sides in the Third Round.

Goals in each half from Corey Blackett-Taylor and Peter Clarke saw Rovers progress to Round 2 whilst National League North side Brackley were involved in a high scoring tie against Bishop Stortford which ended 3-3 and eventually saw the Northamptonshire side triumph 3-2 on penalties and earn their second round tie at Prenton Park.
