In our latest Man of the Match vote of the season which related to last Saturday afternoon's 4-0 home win over Bromley, we can reveal that both Lois Maynard and Adam Dawson shared your votes for Man of the Match for the game.....     

After a full week of voting following Tranmere's impressive 4-0 home win over then high-flying Bromley last Saturdayafternoon, we can now reveal that the Man of the Match for Tranmere's performance, as voted for by you the fans and readers of this site, was once again shared with both Adam Dawson and Lois Maynard sharing the most votes.

After the visitors, who had won six games in a row before arriving at Prenton Park, had dominated the possession in the opening twenty minutes of the game, Rovers took the lead through a great goal by Andy Mangan to lead 1-0 at half-time.

Shortly after the break, Johnny Margetts scored his first Rovers goal to make it 2-0 before then going down in the penalty area under a challenge which allowed Andy Mangan to score his second and Rovers third goal of the game from the penalty spot.

Margetts rounded off the scoring in injury time with his second goal which made it 4-0 to Rovers and capped a great win in what many thought before the game would be a tricky match.

As you can see from the poll below, both Dawson and Maynard polled 31% each of the 36 votes cast (11 votes each) to share the award for the game whilst Jay Harris, came in third with a further 22% of the vote (8 votes).

Only two other players polled any votes in the poll and as you can see below they were both of Tranmere's two goal heroes on the day, Andy Mangan and Johnny Margetts.  They both polled 8% of the vote (3 votes each).

Thanks to everyone who voted in the Man of the Match poll and don't forget that you will are still able to vote for your Man of the Match for Tuesday evening's 2-2 away draw at Wrexham on THIS LINK whilst the poll for this Saturday's match at home to Eastleigh will be available later on Saturday evening after the match so stay tuned to Total Tranmere.
