Following Saturday afternoon's 2-0 derby home win over local rivals Chester, we are asking you to vote for you Tranmere Man of the Match from the game as part of our post-match poll series.

Tranmere scored two first half goals through Liam Hogan and a brilliant solo goal from James Norwood to lead 2-0 at half-time - a lead they held onto throughout the second half despite John Rooney having a penalty which Scott Davies saved to preserve the clean sheet for Rovers and avoid a tense finish.

The win for Rovers is their first since the 1-0 win at home to Halifax on 18th August which has since seen two straight defeats followed by two straight draws.

I've gone for Davies for the penalty save because we were looking a bit shaky at the time sitting back if that had gone in it would've been a nervous couple of minutes as someone else said in another post roll on Tuesday let's not under estimate southport

jennings had a great game i think everyone put in a great performance and for me i think norwood was man of the match and could have had 3 goals today with a bit more match sharpness.
