Midfielder Lee Molyneux leaves Rovers for Morecambe..........
Lee Molyneux has joined League Two side Morecambe following the expiry of his contract at Prenton Park. The midfielder teams up with Shrimpers Manager Jim Bentley at the Globe Arena on a two-year contract to end his short association with the Superwhites.
Molyneux was signed by Micky Adams and made seven appearances. Lee joins the likes of Owain Fon Williams and Iain Hume out of the exit door since the season ended.
Ellison appeared decent at Hull in their promotion year, the same year we reached the playoffs against Hartlepool.
I think it was the following season, we signed him for quite a substantial fee if my memory serves me but, did very little for us and following various other clubs has apparently found his niche at Morecombe.
Rubbish in both games against us last season though and even we should be able to attract better players. James Norwood is a promising start
Thought he was ok. Not the worst player of the season. Played out of position did ok at start then like rest of team lost his way and gave up. I thought Taylor was a better buy but he's gone too.maybe matt hill will stay?
