Could be another banana skin.

How many times have we seen teams play out of their skin when the Manager gets sacked? Almost as if they are putting on a show for their dearly departed.

We need to concentrate and put in a decent performance for the whole 90 minutes.

Surely we can't lose another one?

Nervy 1-1 draw for me. What I would prefer though is that the lads play a high tempo attacking game rather than going there and parking the bus. As the manager said when we do that we defend too deep. Cheltenham have 3-4 new arrivals and they too will be wanting to impress. We need the three points and I want to be positive but recent displays have shot my confidence to ribbons. Hope that the travelling SWA have a good day out.

Cheltenham not won at home since 18th Oct in the league and only won once in the last eighteen all this is leading to one big slip up,be lucky if we get 0-0.

Apart from Dagenham away,we haven't beaten another team home or away in the bottom six or seven. I'll be there but have no confidence at all that we'll get a good result.

I don't know how to call this one at all. A bounce back from Portsmouth just like the bounce back from the York game vs Shrewsbury?

Or another York type performance or even taking the lead and then collapsing as at Portsmouth?

It's anyone's guess but it's a game we have to win really.

Not so much a must win as a must not lose. Not that we go there for a point.

Have no confidence beating teams in the lower part of league two but every confidence beating teams supposedly better than us so expecting the worse today. Decided now I'm just going to cry every result to see if that changes our fortunes. Ths building myself up lark is not doing my health any favours what so ever.

Hey it's only Cheltenham, York, Carlisle and, erm... I actually can't think of any more teams at the bottom we have lost to. Does that mean things are better or worse than I thought? I've confused myself.

We will have lost home and away to Cheltenham and Carlisle. Failed to beat Hartlepool or York too

Questions have got to be asked now whats going on behind closed doors at Tranmere. Other people on here are obviously a lot cleverer than I am regarding football as I thought MA was our man. This is Rob Edwards form now. If we take into account the limited budget RE had to work with it doesn't look good does it?? New signings have had such a negative affect on the team.

I feel sorry for Danny Holmes own goaling, but the result is still poor and Tranmere need to get their act together against struggling teams, as beating them makes the ramifications more positive than beating Shrewsbury, and Exeter, because those are not six pointers.

Gutless,clueless,spineless. Where do I start?

Astounding choice of starting eleven by Adams. Laird dropped[allegedly for tactical reasons]-the underperformers in central midfield play the full 90 minutes again!!!Donnelly isolated wide on the wing!!!! Molyneux is not a left back.

Mindboggling substitutions. Odejayi[admittedly at fault for lack of marking for second goal] but otherwise one of our better performers and Donnelly off. Laird who should have started and Hume[not yet fit] on-when we're two down

Then third sub-the situation demanded someone who can at least pass a ball-Kirby?? Wrong K.

Adams YET AGAIN got it very badly wrong. He WILL in all probability take us down. All that backing and support for new players and we're haemorrhaging points to anyone[at the bottom end] who wants them.We are in as big [if not bigger]mess as when he came

You should all fear the worst-the double relegation is looming large.

Hoots and Deadly have decided we're already relegated. When we're outside the relegation places with thirteen games left. Logical. What would you two do? Sack Adams and bring in Les Parry?

'In all probability' does not mean definitely. But some collective fingers need pulling out-and quickly.

I don't think we're definitely down at all but as each week passes it starts to look worse and worse.

Despite our upturn since the appointment of Micky Adams and I wont bore you with the statistics, as has been posted on numerous occasions, it is our failure to pick up points from the teams in and around us that is the cause for our failure to pull away from the others.

Hartlepool Draw
Carlisle Loss
York Loss
Cheltenham Loss

A modest return in just those games would have made our position
significantly better.

My heart has always said this relegation fight will go on until the end of the season and I just feel we have missed the ideal opportunity to give us a cushion on the rest.

I still have confidence in Micky Adams ability to get it right but, its now only thirteen games to go and for all my support of him I too find the constant changing of the team puzzling.

We have two home games next week against a good Wycombe side and an improving Dagenham / Redbridge which, demand Shrewsbury like performances to ensure a six point return.

Onwards and upwards but, not quite with the normal level of enthusiasm.

I don't think Tranmere are going down and being outside the relegation places is one reason for me. Were Tranemre in Hartlepool's predicament, it wouldn't be completely impossible right now, but it would look a more condemning a position to be in.

However Adams and the players must find more consistency, as that recent run of sterling form is looking like a distant memory and it's shades of last season, when Lowe started scoring regularly, only for the half decent form to then disappear like Lord Lucan never to return.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

Excellent summarising of our woes and concerns. We've been consistently out-fought by the teams around us. Turn half of those games into draws and we are looking a lot more comfortable. Let's hope our generally OK form against the better sides gets us through.

Yet again we talk of a double win with the two home games and as I mentioned in another thread it's these back to back wins that's the problem having a quick look at the records
it seems it was Dec 2012 when we last had a back to back double(wins)in the league it does not bold well for these games going on that abysmal record,
