After Tranmere somewhat harshly lost 3-1 away Sheffield United on Sunday with a consolation goal from Ash Taylor, we are giving you the opportunity to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match from the game.......

 

 

 

Following Tranmere's disappointing and perhaps undeserved 3-1 defeat at Sheffield United this afternoon we are asking you to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match from the game as our post-match poll series returns for 2014.

Poor defending after just seven minutes allowed the hosts to take a perhaps undeserved lead and after Ryan Lowe had missed a great chance to equalise shortly afterwards, the Blades added two second half goals including one from ex-Rovers loanee Jose Baxter.

Ash Taylor added a consolation for Rovers before Jake Kirby's fantastic effort shaved the top of the crossbar but there were no further goals added and Rovers slipped to defeat.

How was it an undeserved victory? We tore you apart today and yes, you could have got 2 or 3 but we could have scored 6 easy.

In no way was it an undeserved victory. I think whoever said that has got their rose tinted glasses on. In the first half particularly,we had a number of very narrow escapes.

We could have been ahead easily by half time then it could have been so different added the blatant handball for the third goal and the two footed lunge that only got a yellow.

Whichever way you dress it up to suit the negativity we were unfortunate.

Fair enough but haven't heard many that agree. People just prefer to pile on the negativity despite a hard working performance.

We've worked hard in quite a few games that we've lost or drawn this season.That doesn't mean that the other team were lucky or the result undeserved.

unfortunatley not , i couldnt make it. But my two buddies i go every game with were. And the bad luck/silly mistakes excuse is wearing a bit thin after 12 months
