Easy win 4-1 winners, Koumas and Wallace getting 2

after a tricky week will be good to talk about the game again, will be a tough game think we will just nick it 2 1

what a poor result that was, Wallace pulled out of team late on hope nothing serious.

For away games we really need to be playing 4-5-1 as were conceding far to many goals, a big game now on friday

what a disgrace this was, another 4 goals conceded, thats 9 in the last 2 games, back to square one again.

You have to question RM tactics again, we have lost the last 3 away games badly when he decided to dump the defensive midfielder,the results away from home prior to this had been encouraging. Does he think we or he is are better than we are

We were very lucky that it was only 4.

What happened to Wallace, yet another groin injury, you have to wander what is going on with the coaching /training at the club

what a disgrace, conceding 9 goals in 2 games, we are back to square one again here, how can we beat coventry and cant beat carlisle ??

because ronnies picked the wrong team,wheres hateley gone defensive midfielder we need away if not hateley ,I know Jennings is injured but we play better with the dfefensive midfielder .goals against prove this

Only 4-5 hours to go and I will be back home after setting off at 5am this morning. All I can say is what a bloody shambles, what a bloody disgrace. Having followed Tranmere for over 45 years I am seriously thinking of throwing the towell in and going to watch my local team, Staines Town. They certainly play moe attractive football than this shower. What prospective buyer would want to invest in this load of junk. I think the Trust should divide up what ever cash they have recieved and dish it out to local charaties. I am utterly embarassed to say I follow Tranmere not only due to there off field antics but more importantly there pitifull definition of football.

Can't tackle, can't pass or cross and, apart from Lowe, can't shoot. Clueless management. Dropped Holmes who's been playing much better recently-did anybody tell Otsemobor that he was playing right back not centre back. The Carlisle left flank had the total freedom of Brunton Park[it felt like Cumbria] particularly in the second half when JLAA was oddly playing right midfield. Unbelievable.

If we were playing only one striker why did we not have a defensive midfielder or why was Kirby dropped.

I see their third goal has been described on their website as ''one of the best goals ever seen at Brunton Park''. From their point of view,I can see why but from our non tackling, backing off team,it was a dreadful shambles. The first goal was a great strike too[same player-Tom Lawrence a Man Utd loanee]but why did we back off so much before he hit it.

For the second goal,their big centre half was making himself very awkward blocking our keeper and defender on the line.OFW seemed more concerned with him[he pulled his shirt at least twice at different times] instead of watching where the ball was. And who was supposed to be marking Amoo?

Why did we only make one substitution when we were doing so 'well'? Maybe Moore thought we were on top!!! They had players warming up regularly and used all their subs. I don't know where ours were.

Could somebody tell Koumas that we were playing in the lighter not darker blue? His corners seemed to be aimed at the latter.

We had good chances in the first half but so did they. OFW made more saves than their keeper did in that period.

And,for those who moan at the loanees,McNulty and Ridehalgh applauded the away fans at the end far more than most of our own players[Lowe particularly and Koumas to a lesser extent excepted.]

Oh and I met a Cumbrian 'prince' at the station both going and coming back- Prince Buaben who was in their midfield. Was a damn sight better than any of ours.

The linesman with the yellow flag had to be one of the most inept officials I have seen for a long time. Gave four dreadful offside decisions against us in the first half.

I say that as somebody who almost always backs the officials more than most.

A poor result, simple as that, worse second half than the first and Wallace's unfortunate groin strain could have had na impact with him not able to play.

Tranmere needed to win to make a staement about the cup result and recent events; the statement being that the recent good form would not be jeopardised, because recent events would not divide the club and Ronnie saying 10 points from the next 4 games could be possible.

This kind of result sends out a few bad messages to a prospective buyer and if Tranmere end up getting 0-2 points from the next 3 games, it might put them back in the relegation zone and make them look like a team that were getting good form, will just begin to get terrible form and jeopardise their league one status.

If they can get 7-9 from the next 3 games and get the form back to playoff standards, which it was since that Bradford 1-0, prospective owners will be bouyed, as Tranmere could have had a 1.8 point a game average from the last 10 if they had won, which is top 2 form and they woulod have climbed 5 places as well as it stands.

Sort it out Ronnie and get the team playing like they did against Preston, Coventry and Colchester, because that's the real Tranemre Rovers, not this surrender monkey performance and 14th place is still possible with the next win.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

Where do I start? From this season. Walsall,Notts County ,Crewe, Peterborough[x 2],Leyton Orient, Carlisle and quite a few other indifferent ones like Port Vale,Swindon,Rotherham to name but 3..

Carlisle (Very poor indeed and I found the capitulation in the second half embarrassing and a disservice to the club and Carlisle for not giving them the sort of game Tranmere wre capable of with a team I feel half of which were comparable and the other half better than theirs)

Port Vale (A player got sent off unjustly and Tranmere were done by a classy free kick and lost 1-0, so I don't agree with that.)

Swindon (Got done 1-0 and that's only because Hateley gave a soft penalty away, so hardly a terrible result, considering Tranmere held on to keep it 1-0, against a normally bogey side for 1+ hours, who have in recent years scored 3+ goals against Tranmere in a few games.)

Rotherham (Drew to a team I think in the top 6 at the time, so I don't agree with that one, as that could have been a possible mauling, considering they are still in the top 8, so they were not overachieving for a few weeks.)

(As for last season, that was last season. The squad isn't the same, so I don't count anything that happened then, as personally it's not relevant to the points total or form this season.)

Also the only reason I chose to name 3 games is because I didn't think I needed to list others as examples, but Tranmere still beat Bradford and then up until the Carlisle debarcle, lost 2 of the previous 9 games, which were to the top 2 and still got 15 points from the other 7 games, so a far cry from the start of the season when they had 5 from 9.

Oh and I would include the Brentford result as a bit inadequate, because they started poorly, fought back then chucked it away and then appeared to have scraped a fortuitous point until the referee spoiled the result.

The defence let the attacking players down, although Dugdale scored to partly atone for any culpability he had in the first 3 concessions.

Are your perceptions based on what you have actually seen or on hearsay based on others' reports? Performances and results can quite often be totally different things.
