Sheff Utd (A) Live Updates and Match Discussion

If you can't make Tranmere's game away at Sheffield United in NPower League One on Saturday afternoon, why not follow our live match updates right here and join in the banter right and with other Rovers fans who are unable to attend......

Following football even at League One level is pretty expensive these days and no matter how much you love the Rovers, it will sometimes be difficult to make the games in person whether it be the lengthy away trips, or for exiles living elsewhere in the UK or abroad, the home games too.

As a result, for those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, we at Total Tranmere will not only be providing this match discussion thread for you to discuss developments with the game, but in a brand new feature we will also be providing a live updates service from the game which will include team line-ups, score updates and also pictures and snippets live from the game.

Fans at Bristol Rovers

Tranmere of course, travel to Sheffield United in NPower League One on Saturday afternoon so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on? This is one of the games that is going to show whether we are serious contenders for promotion.
I think we play better away and can get a draw from this match. 1-1

Got a gut feeling we might win this one. No scinentific evidence to back it up but think we may scrape it. Hopeing also Coventry can pull a rabbit out of the hat at Doncaster. Fingers crossed.

Well happy with a point, we have now taken the best that this division has to offer and we are still top allbeit by goal difference. Bring on the rest of the season !!!

By all accounts not a good game but a very good point indeed.

Good to see max get a start think he should get a run of games now to show what he can do.

STILL TOP.Well done to to RM and the team.Just shows how the
results can go with Doncaster thrashed at home and Stevenage also losing at home.

Some more heavyweight games next week Swindon v TRFC,Brentford v Stevenage,Doncaster v MK dons and Crawley v
Sheff Utd . A win for us Friday night might well put us a
few points clear.

These are certainally enjoyable times and a far cry from all
the problems of the last few years.

Very happy with the point in what was a poor game with very few chances. Have to say, they were there for the taking - a poor, long ball side who created very little going forward. Defended well but if we'd had a bit more creativity up front I feel we could have sneaked it.

A good result though and still top.

Swindon are a bogey team, but hopefully Tranmere can, after many consecutive games without a win against them, pick and flicky the bogey (Sm7).

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

Beforehand I would have snapped anyone's hand off for a draw in that game and yet I came away disappointed as I felt we could have won by a couple of clear goals!

Still happy with the point don't get me wrong but felt it could and should have been more.

Great to see Ronnie give Max a start ...he,s better than Danny H.in every aspect of the game...fitter,faster,stronger,better passer, good shot, defensively and attacking....needs games because he is one to watch for the future.

Nonsense. To say he's better defensively for starters is hilarious.

I'll take a point at Sheff U, anytime, we're still top of the league, and give Max a start again Ronnie at Swindon and we'll still be top. Jakes ready to bang a few in before he temporarily goes in January too.

The big concern for me, is the past record against the magic roundabout brigade. I think in the last 5 or 6 games, there's been 1 draw and no wins.

Even when they were relagated, they still took a 2-0 win with them, as a souvenir of league 1.

However eventually things must change, because when you start going on a bogey spell of results against any team, you can't keep failing to then beat a team like that forever until the world explodes, os perhaps this will be the game that seals it.

Especially, as I recall, the last game against them Ronnie had in his last spell in charge, was a 3-1 defeat.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
