If you can't make Tranmere's game at home to Bury on Tuesday evening, why not join in the banter right here with other Rovers fans who are unable to attend......
For those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, particularly the more costly and time consuming southern away games, we at Total Tranmere will be providing a Match Discussion Thread on the Site for every Rovers game.
The thread will allow you to discuss everything from the pre-match build up and starting line-up to the game it as it progresses and the post-match analysis.
Where possible, Total Tranmere staff will post up the starting line-up and substitutes on the thread as soon as it is made known at the game as well as a half-time report on how the game is going for the benefit of those who are unable to make it.
Tranmere of course, host Bury on Tuesday evening in NPower League One so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on?
Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.
You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the league as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been along to the game.
What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.
Admin staff will try and add the team and updates on the game on this thread where possible whilst there will also be our usual update service from our Twitter feed @totaltranmere so if you are not already following us it may be worth doing so!

It's great being at the top of the League, but more pleasing to me has been the performances on the pitch. I'm actually enjoying going to the matches and looking forward to the next match. Where we are in March/April is going to be more important, but if we can keep playing the type of football we've seen, I don't think we'll be far away. It's a far cry from the "Hoofball" of the previous couple of seasons, and shows especially in the way that "fonners" is actually rolling/throwing the ball to players and building from the back, rather than try to kick his way to Bebington.
My heart says a convincing Tranmere win but my head says a 1-1 draw
Over the years I have tended to be less than optimistic in my predictions and it has served me well in prediction league terms. I cannot break the habit but I am beginning to hope that I will be bottom of that league.
It is still too soon to feel that this is a team that can challenge but it is nice that results thus far justify the speculation

Good to see that despite a 3-0 win our captain is not blinded by the result when we win but play below par.

The first half,Bury were definitely the best side and played very well.We were very lucky to be ahead.Second half we played much better though I didn't feel at all secure until we got the second penalty.After the third goal we played some tremendous football for about 15 minutes and should have scored a couple more.But that would have been very hard on Bury-in fact 3-0 was hard on Bury.Hard to pick a MOM from a pretty strange game-I'd go for Gibson.

Nice to see us win playing badly and everything going are way this year from, wins, goals, not conceding with a defence which has had Goodison missing and at times a defence with players who met each other on the day.
I think this improvement reflects on the subtle changes ronnie has made in his man management since his last spell, actively coming out proving his belief in players, eg. JLAA can score 20 goals, robbos is best player in league. From memory he werent always forefront in media in doing this.
Sorry to be a but i can see are bubble bursting when robbo picks up his 5th yellow, already on 3. But, long may it continue.

It's clear we don't need Goodison (at the moment) and as long as Gibson and Taylor stay fit I can't see him playing before Christmas at least.

In fact a return of goodison would be detrimental. The team,even when off colour play with movement all over the pitch which allows for rapid counter attack. Goodison would not fit this so well

Yep can only agree with all other comments. We rode our luck a little but I think Owain only had to make one real save didn't he when he touched it round the post? Bury played some nice football at times as did Coventry but no end product whereas we do have an end product and we are defending well. We could probably do with starting games a little better as better teams could potentially take advantage such as Crawley but I'm nit-picking. A win is a win and we play some lovely football at times. 12 goals in 4 home games is unbelievable! Keep it going boys!!!!!!!
Unbelievable really that over the last three home games we've won 9-0 on aggregate but only performed for about 80 minutes in total.
Bury stretched us all over the place in the first half yesterday and would have been unhappy going into the break at 0-0, never mind a goal down. Once again though, our defense was solid throughout the game and we capitalised on their errors.
As much as our goalscoring record is impressive this early success is definitely built on having 4 big, strong, mobile and committed guys at the back. What's more we've got decent cover in all defensive positions (or will do when everyone's back to fitness)!

Thought we were very poor in the first half, the penalty came out of the blue and was a massive bonus. The second penalty completely knocked the sutuffing out of them and it could have been more after that (though that would have been harsh on Bury).
Once again Cassidy imo was poor with his work outside the box, but you can't knock 5 goals so far and the guy is a fox in the box.
Fantastic so far, I feel saturday will be a good benchmark as to where we are and what we could become though.

Great win last night, and helped my bank account greatly. Had thankfully backed us to win 3-0 (11/1), Robinson first goal and a Tranmere win (9/1) and Robinson first goal in a 3-0 win (50/1). When your luck's in, your luck's in!

However, what we need to recognise that this is actually the way we play.

Then, I don't think enough credit is given to the coaching staff as regards drinks breaks and half time, note the subsequent improvment (and the fact we don't concede immediately after a goal - the most dangerous time and historiccally one of our failings.
Much stronger second half, and once in the lead very dangerous on the counter attack, thanks to the positive stance and pace Ronnie promised.

I think Referees could have cost Tranmere in the region of 4-7 points by Christmas, by failing to give enough good penalties, which ultimately would have cost Ronnie another 2-3, maybe 4 league places in May and a bit more prize money.
A good result in the circumstance. Not the best performance I think anyone will see Tranmere give this season, but it's a win and they all count.
Just a pity Stevenage bagged a second in their game, after Walsall equalised. If they'd drawn, Tranmere could have been in a position to lose on Saturday and still stay top, instead of possibly dropping to second.
Still, onward and upward.

What do you mean by a ''good penalty''? It's irrelevant to Ronnie Moore's position how many penalties we got in the first half of last season as he wasn't here. It didn't cost him anything.In fact if we'd have got your mythical 4-7 extra points by Christmas then Parry might not have got the boot and Ronnie Moore might still be out of a job.
It counts in the long term is what I was saying, though not specifically for Ronnie; not at the time when they weren't getting them.

I think in all honesty, even if he'd made it to the end of the season he'd have goen no further, even if another 6 points by Christmas happened, he'd have bought himself the end of the season.
Ronnie could have still possiblly taken over and potentially signed the players he has now.
At leats Tranmere having Parry was better than Martin Allen. Failing performances, as opposed to failing performances, littered with too many fouls and diving, some such performances improved a bit because of dishonest penalties.

Possibly, but the extra points from the penalites the team never got might have saved the team.

Most teams [except the really big ones] don't get penalties that they think they should have.It's all very subjective and many fans only see what they want to see.
