If you can't make Tranmere's game at home to Hartlepool United on Saturday afternoon, why not join in the banter right here with other Rovers fans who are unable to attend......
For those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, particularly the more costly and time consuming southern away games, we at Total Tranmere will be providing a Match Discussion Thread on the Site for every Rovers game.
The thread will allow you to discuss everything from the pre-match build up and starting line-up to the game it as it progresses and the post-match analysis.
Where possible, Total Tranmere staff will post up the starting line-up and substitutes on the thread as soon as it is made known at the game as well as a half-time report on how the game is going for the benefit of those who are unable to make it.
Tranmere of course host Hartlepool United in NPower League One on Saturday afternoon so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on?
Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.
You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the league as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been along to the game.
What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.
Admin staff will try and add the team and updates on the game on this thread where possible whilst there will also be our usual update service from our Twitter feed @totaltranmere so if you are not already following us it may be worth doing so!
Oops, called that one wrong! Collectively a poor performance, although we dominated the game without creating much in front of goal. Typical end of season game with little to play for. The ref was a total pillock.
Another uninspiring and boring performance which are becoming all too frequent.
The announcement by the sponsors that Goodison was Man of the Match was laughable and I noticed in the Tranmere Suite after the game that Robbo picked up two of the other Man of the Match Awards.
Welsh was decent and Akins was alright at times but all in all another uninspiring performance and not a good advert for people unsure about a season ticket for next season.
But nonetheless better than the majority of home games this season.
Whole game was overshadowed imo by one of the worst pieces of refereeing I have seen. Absolutely bizarre, I really don't think he had a clue what he was doing.
Deadly Submarine That gamne was as poor as most of the other cr*p ones served up this season. The hoofball is almost unbearable at times.
I totally agree.End of season fayre. It was just meandering sleepily towards a draw when the incident happened. How the ref can mix up Fon Williams and Goodison up is pretty astounding-I also thought it was a penalty and was amazed twice in the incident-firstly having seen the red card brandished I thought at OFW and turned to talk to the person next to me,I looked back at our half to see Fon Williams still between the posts and Goodison having walked to the touch line. Then thinking it was a penalty I readied a text to send to my son saying two one to them penalty-looked up to see them take the penalty only to find it was a free kick .
Confusing-yes just a bit. And the came the equally astounding MOM decision-just mindboggling.
I couldn't really care if it's boring, football's a points business and that is what Ronnie has more than successfully shown he's capable of since coming back. League 1 & 2 are the hoofball ambassadors for the footballing world
At leaset it gave Ronnie the opportunity to confirm that
McGurk clearly has a mental bloack which will prevent him being the player we know he could be.
Impression is that given that previous injuries, he is unable to commit to physical challenges, and in many instances tackles or blocks, allied to an appalling work rate (give and go - not give and watch).
At least there is one area we can save money and put towards a striker (hopefully not cassidy - who again demonstrated that he is only willing to put in effort when there is a potential goal attempt - he has contributed nothing in games in which he has failed to score! But the question would be half hearted and potentially effective or whole hearted and ineffective - Brunt, personally I would prefer to see Mustafa given a go in the 442 set up
