Not that I condone singing anti-les songs during the game, but surely if the chants were loud enough at an AWAY game that they could be (and have been) heard by Les, then surely he must realise that even the hardcore fans want him gone now.

I believe the fans that travel home AND away (i myself am not one) have the biggest right to have their opinions heard.

Game over Les... you can pick up a copy of FM2012 with the wages you earned posing as a real manager.

Hard core fans? A lot of those there today I have NEVER seen at an away game before.

Oldham is a lot closer than most of the other grounds in this league.

Could be a costly penalty as we head towards the drop after another 3 points lost.

It's alarming that he knows how people are feeling about his style of management, but still shrugs it all off.

He is defending his players and could be commended for that, however, to quote a well known American Comedy Film, "they look like a gang of retards trying to f*ck a door knob!" .

The Management Team and the Players need to take some of the blame, it's a team set up, and although Les is clearly delusional, he needs to get a grip.

If he can't turn this mess around then he needs to step down.

I reckon anyone could do better than him at the moment, I'd sack the fool and appoint one of the Senior Players as Caretaker until our fate is decided come May.

The lack of communication from Tranmere Rovers towards it's fan base is probably one of the worst in League Football, it would appear that it's tolerance of ineptitude is second to none, because they are happy with sub standard everything.

Micky Mouse Kit Supplier, Rubbish Club Shop that sells Tat, Recycled Match Programmes,A Stadium thats falling to bits, a Shirt Sponsorship thats clearly been struck with Councillors taking back handers, A Chairman who is a Liverpool Supporter and who's rap sheet includes the rape of Everton Football Club, a Manager who is delusional and quite clearly smoking some strong sh*t with no football pedigree at all (probably the most inexperienced manager in paid football?), and a squad of under achieving players who put more into Tweeting about Liverpool and Everton than they do into playing for their own f*cking club!!!

Yes we all know that when watching your team be it at home or away you should support the team on the field of play and not get at the manager this sort of thing does not help the team.
This to a degree I fully back you should get behind them but it makes it hard when you see the team you love and support for many years get to this point of being a fiasco so because it may be you can not vent your anger at the opposition it`s their job to go on and beat your team so who do you show your discontent too if we were on a run of sixteen games with out getting beat Les`s name would be ringing round the ground and all would be well *give us a wave Parry ect* and Les would reply with a wave and he would take the all this in his stride and all would be well.
But human nature being what it is means in the end after the run we are on things do not go that way and fans will turn on the manager and the only wave some fans want from Les is a good bye wave as he walks out of Prenton Park and shuts the door behind him it is sad that it may come to this after all his loyal service to the club.
I only hope he can turn it around and get some wins on the table and keep us in league one not for Parry`s sake but for the fans including myself if he does that will be fine.
Survival is the number one target what then happens to Les will have to be left for the summer break unless other forces have come in to play sooner. Onwards and Upwards is all we hope.

I think he deserves it basically.

He picks the team every week, he tells them how he wants them to play (or not play at the moment), so why is he surprised when he has only won one game in nineteen that the fans are having a go???

If I went to see a movie in the cinema and it was total rubbish, I wouldn't go home and recommend it to all my friends would I?

Les has got to be the luckiest man in football, the recent run of form at Tranmere would have resulted in dismissal at any other club, without a shadow of a doubt.

If it was one or two games then Les would have a fair point, however its nearly half a season with only one win???

The level of ineptitude would warrant the sack in any form of employment, so why should football management be any different?

He's a nice guy and all that, but he needs to realise he's never going make the Hall of Fame is he???

He's saying supporters 2nd half had an adverse effect on the team... what about the teams first half performance having an adverse effect on the fans...

Every week he comes up with excuses, it's never his fault is it?

It's either injuries, bad luck, bad decisions by the ref, cheap this cheap that?

When is he going to grow a set and admit that he doesn't know what he is doing??

The fans got on his back because they are sick of listening to his bullshit after games. It's never Les' fault.

He has brought this on himself, he's clutching at straws and running out of excuses, so this week it's the fans turn to take the blame.

Next week it'll be down to someone else.

we all know the performances have been terrible,we know that perhaps les has not been able to maintain the high standards set in the early part of the season and that defeats in our next couple of games will probably take us into the relegation zone.ok, there doesnt seem to be any reason to expect improved performances, but, saying that we need to remember that les is a great fella and even if you think hes hopeless we should all lay ff with the insults because he doesnt deserve that-the clubs been going down sin ce johnson messed up with everton unfortunately it looks like the bad running of the club is finally catching up with us

Bad running of the Club? Please explain?

There might be some aspects not right within the Club but we are pretty stable in other ways.

Simple stuff like PR, dealing with customers etc. is what I think he means?!

Although financially we're not as badly run as the likes of Rangers or Pompey, in other areas we are really badly run - best example i can think of now off the top of my head was the release of the home kit this season.

It has to happen now not in the summer.

Les is not using the fact boo boys affected the players as an excuse, he pointed it out in a post-match summary, because the players told him how they felt about being criticised during a game.

He was doing it to highlight the effect those fans have on players, because it's unlikely when people boo players and deride them, they understand or are mindful, of how it affects players or brings them down, otherwise it would only be a callous individual that still did it, knowing how much it gets to some of the players.

He looks like he's making excuses sometimes and probably is "some of the time", but what can he say, when players miss too many chances, make mistakes and teams like Bournemouth get lucky.

He's not going to say my tactics were rubbish, which contributed to flukey Bournemouth goals, or contributed to poor defending of a 1-0 lead against Wycombe, or blowing of some good opportunities against Carlisle, because the tactics are not the reason for all the issues on the pitch nor is he, they contribute to some issues only.

I'm sure he'd like to say fresh things and be more varied in summaries, but when the same things happen, you can't expect a frilly assessment.

He could have said about Bournemouth, we pounced on a mind bending early chance, to score an uplifting goal, only later to be confronted with a very perplexing and bamboozling couple of outcomes, that permitted a reversal of fortunes for my plucky combatants, that allowed the adversary to proffer, from a full compliment of fairly ill-deserved points.

However had he said something like that, people would have accused him of skirting around the issue, or trying to hide from the truth, or just plain old making excuses.

In all honesty, it's gotten to the point where anything he says after games now, will receive backbiting from some fans, but people criticise the club for being media unfriendly, so why should Parry feel he should justify results at all, when nobody else at the club justifies other failings?

He could always not bother to say anything, except in relation to injuries or minor issues and keep shtum about matches, but he'd still be criticised then for hiding from people and not having the cahonies to talk about how a match turned out.

He'll not get any respite from fans if he shuts up or speaks out, because anything he says will be taken in or out of context, but despite how many times he'll speak of fluffed chances, if players fluff many chances like they do, it gives him cause to speak of it, especially if some games pivot mostly around fluffed chances, I.E. Carlisle and not bad defending or refereeing, then if all he can say is fluffed chances, he'd say it, rather than say nothing and be accused of ducking an issue and hiding from fans.

He must know some people will deride his post-match comments, but he still makes them and doesn't hide from people, which I commend, because Johnson and Horton hide away and say nothing at all to the media, except in a blue moon, probably relating to a knackered section of roof or the occsional other issue.

He puts himself in the firing line talking about anything but he still does it and nobody comes on here week in week out bemoaning Johnsons silence, when the same problems with a few financial mishaps, lack of fresh ideas, lack of communication etc, persist and where's all the what could be called "Johnson Haters", week in week out, giving him both barrells.

You want good results on the pitch, but obviously you need a club to get them and a good one, with the right atmosphere and fan consideration, to have more chance of getting them and building and retaining crowd numbers.

Am I therefore encouraging more Johnson rhetoric on here? No; but urging a little more tolerance, not of Parry's playing style or leadership, but of what he says.

He could say nothing, or be really brief after games, but ask yourself this, forget what you may think he should say like poor tactics, my fault etc, straight choice, he loses and has two main options, blame fluffed chances when there were many and so therefore it's a jusitifiable admission, or simply make no post-match comments at all.

What do you want in this situation, is what it basically comes down to; post-match Parry, or no post-match Parry, but he'll be post-match Parry and however much he does say, I feel he does say correct things mostly and is honest.

He might not be as full and as honest as some would wish, but he is certainly no B.S. merchant, that invents bad refereeing or loads of bum goal attempts to hide his failings sometimes.

Though I admit, occasionally saying he might be at fault some weeks, would help him a bit more PR wise.

He IS using it as an excuse, he said we could have got back into the game but the fans decided to chant against him, as if that affects anything. Fans were superb in the first half but that didn't help the players did it? Fans on the whole have been very good and extremely patient over the last 19 games, he's lucky its took this long for the chanting to go on for a sustained period of time through the game!

His tactics are to blame.. it's not down to luck we've won 1 game from 19. He is to blame for90% of it. We're not expecting 19 wins from 19, even if we'd just won 5 from 19 we'd be 12 points better off and sitting in 8th place.. and 5 from 19 is hardly amazing either! It's not like, given our squad, it's too much to ask for!

But he has never come out and said "I admit i got X, Y and Z wrong" - if he did I'd have more respect for him. The first stage of learning is realising and reflecting on your mistakes, don't think he's ever said "I've done this wrong but I've learnt from it" etc.

The manager is always the front man not the chairman,secretary,groundsman or tea lady.

Well I politely disagree as to the nature of why he highlghted player derision, but I agree, he should be a little more proactive about his own misdeeds, because it is a learning principle as you say.
