If you can't make Tranmere's game at home to Yeovil Town on Saturday afternoon, why not join in the banter right here with other Rovers fans who are unable to attend......
Where possible, Total Tranmere's admin team will post reports at half-time on how the game is going for the benefit of those who are unable to make it and of course there will also be all the post-match examination of the game by fans who went to the match.
For those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, particularly the more costly and time consuming southern away games, we at Total Tranmere will be providing a Match Discussion Thread on the Site for every Rovers game.
The thread will allow you to discuss everything from the pre-match build up and starting line-up to the game it as it progresses and the post-match analysis.
Where possible, Total Tranmere staff will post up the starting line-up and substitutes on the thread as soon as it is made known at the game as well as a half-time report on how the game is going for the benefit of those who are unable to make it.
Tranmere of course host Yeovil Town in NPower League One on Saturday afternoon so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on?
Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.
You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the league as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been along to the game.
What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.
Admin staff will try and add the team and updates on the game on this thread where possible. Unfortunately a Twitter update service from @totaltranmere will not be available for this game but @MikeJacksonTRFC will try to bring some kind of update service during this game for those who usually rely on our Twitter fee for updates.

Hope we 'Sheffield United' rather than 'Port Vale' the game!!!!
Play to potential and we should win, but watch the Ciderdrinkers - they will spoil, put ten men behind ball and cling for a draw hoping to break away and nick it... never a pretty game against them but I think we're confident enough to turn 'em over

I'm more nervous about this game than any so far. Yeovil only lost 1-0 to both MK Dons and Sheffield united so need to be treated with respect. As long as we get out of the blocks fast against them I think we'll be o.k. Losing Andy Robbo was a blow but we did manage to score against Sheffield united without him. I'd be happy with a 1-0 win on this one.

Just typical of the weather here`s thinking with Liverpool/Everton not playing all that was needed was a sunny afternoon that could bring in the extra foot fall into Prenton Park today but just Rovers luck turns out to be perhaps a wet afternoon that could put off the extra fans let`s hope that lady luck(and bit of skill and good football) sits on our side with a nice win today 3-0. onwards and upwards.
Been to the game. Arrived with the news that Teriakyi and Enoch in the team, 4-4-2. Not to be felt sorry for Teriakyi stuck as a right winger. If the plan was to play 4-5-1 (les's 4-3-3) then we should have started with Akins. Disappointed with the performance but without Robinson, McGurk and the Devaney it was always going to be a hardworking performance rather than a pure football display. Impressed with Yeovil well organised at the back and in midfield short of strikers (thank god).
Eleven points is 8 above relegation and only 29 from the magical 40.
Looking forward to the next game.

Ye just got back. We were really disappointing today. God knows why Les stuck Muzza on the wing. Ridiculous choice, he was only there so we could pump the ball long to him, which we did on several occasions. I worried what we would be like without Robbo, and today showed he will be really missed. There was a severe lack of creativity, and some of last seasons habits crept back in.
Of course we were unlucky to see Devaney limp off, and with him Mcgurk and Robbo not there we struggled. For me it is vital we get a forward in on loan. I remain unconvinced with Muzza, Enoch just doesn't look right and Akins isn't good enough.
Weir was just about the pick of the bunch today for me. He closed down, got about them and tried to drive us forward. I have been pushing for Joss to start but he didn't really make an impression, was disappointed with him today. Welsh was poor, gave the ball away too many times.
Defensively Ash missed a great chance, but apart from that he worries me every time a forward puts pressure on him. Twice in the last 10 mins he nearly cost us, once from losing the ball and the second from awful positioning. They are a poor team, and we should be beating them at home.
There was no tempo today, we didn't look threatening and we also nearly threw a point away because we lost our shape at the end. Huffed and puffed all day and lack of creativity cost us dear was happy to leave with the point to be honest as last year that would be the type of game we would lose. When Agard was clean through i thought "here we go again" but fair play to Raven like getting back.
I thought Weir was MOM by a mile too. Didnt think a number of players did enough including Joss and Zoom's positioning and touch was way off kilter (lack of first team action maybe).
Probably if one of the earlier chances went in then we would have had a different game. And can someone tell Ash to look for the easy pass rather than hitting it 50 yds each time, great when it comes off but with 5mins to go your just inviting pressure!!

But we didn't play 4-4-2.Tiryaki was on the right and looked like a fish out of water.Enoch did not look fit but playing 4-5-1 at home[the manager calls it 4-3-3] will bring more dire games like today. What is worrying is that in his post match interview he was asked if he thought about playing 4-4-2 and strongly and adamantly said ''no he hadn't considered it'' and that we''played better before we changed to 4-4-2 near the end''. I'm afraid that that suggests to me that he has learnt nothing from last season.
The difference without Robbo was huge and concerning[he's out for 3 weeks I was told,McChrystal for 3 months]. Labadie had his chance and was very poor-should have been substituted by Power.Weir,as has been said elsewhere,was our best player-Raven gets an honourable mention.

The clean sheet as ever was pleasing, but the game was winnable and 1-0 would have been good enough. The team made themselves to some extent, look like they couldn't cope without injured players, when I believe they could in some of the fixtures this season, if they got any more injuries.
I did think Les would go Raven in the centre and Kay out wide, but clearly he felt just a straight swap with Taylor for McChrystal, was the way forward.
Though I suspect that was probably based on the Port Vale game.
Huddersfield are a hard team and Tranmere need to be more sharp in front of goal next week. They have the back 5 to cope with Huddersfield, it's just a question of next week, getting back to the good shots on target levels they have had in most games and they can win next week.

Not the best today, oh boy their were chances only a few but god if only a Aldo or Muiry were up front but we just have not got any one that comes close to those two that`s what`s needed to put away that one or two chances wins games seems we might struggle to score if we have to wait for forwards to score still did not know why Tiryaki played out there on the wing he may not be the answer to a goal centre forward but one thing he not a winger oh well perhaps we can get back on track with an away draw next week at Huddersfield,one more thing why the hell

On the bright side, I'd have taken a top six after six, and above Huddersfield, and having beaten the team above us away, before season started. Injuries are coming a bit too early though ...

The turning point of the match was definitely Devaney going off injured because we really missed his ability to beat other players out wide today. We didn't have options on the bench to turn it around and we only looked like we could nick a goal from a set piece.
Agreed Teriaki is not a winger, we all saw that today - much better running at people from the middle. Zoom, for me, has always been a left back and not a winger, and I think that showed today. Akins was Akins when he came on.

It was obvious by Saturdays display that we don't process a strong enough squad to cover for the loss of certain players when they are either injured or suspended. Playing a fullback at home in place of a winger does not help our forward play and Taylor was caught out a number of times in his defending late in the game. However, in saying that we did have enough chances to have won the game. Could do with a possible couple of loan players. Maybe Lateef if he is available being one?
For the next game I'd put Kay back in the side, move Raven to centre back and drop Ash. He nearly cost us the game yesterday on numerous occassions. We lacked any creativity in the middle, and went long too many times. Pleased that we are still unbeaten at home mind and the clean sheet was pleasing. Tough game next week at Huddersfield. Need to be a lot better if we're to get anything out of the game!

can't beleive the Stick Ash is getting ! he was solid in defence ! ok I remember him getting caught once but remember Godison too getting caught out and Ash covering brilliantly ! ASh commanded more at the back too
When Martin Devaney went off I thought we'd struggle with this one. One shot on and 8 off target sums up the game for me.Enoch hasn't looked right so far this season. The chance he had when he was clean away and the ball got tangled up in his feet. He'd have at least got a good shot on target last season and he didn't look good when he came off either. The injuries are piling up already and at this rate we'll be recalling Danny Holmes from Fleetwood. Just hope Les's loan signings are good ones. I'm still feeling positive as we are still hard to beat and still in the play-off zone but our forward players have got to start pitching in with some goals soon for us to stay there.

''Numerous occasions''-utter nonsense. Ash made some mistakes[so did most of the rest of them] but Goodison made as many if not more. Huddersfield would be a tough game no matter who we have in our team.

i like ash alot but some times he is a bit nieve. also he his as easy to read as a book. he gets the ball he hoofs it.
i think with a few more games he will do well the first season he came into the team he played realy well and he was good but as he has got older the pressure of him getting into the team is starting to show a little bit more than it did before.

He's not a creative midfielder.His main job as a central defender is to stop the opposition scoring and clear the ball from the danger area .As a defensive midfielder his job would be to break up the oppositions forward moves-again not creative. He has also been brought up on the current managers tactics and philosophy which the last full two seasons have hardly been attractive to put it mildly.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look good for Enoch. Not sure when McGurk will be back. Overall we did okay considering so many key players out, lets hope they return quickly or a striker who can score comes in on loan.

My problem with Saturdays formation/selections are if we are going to start 433 then cannot have poor Muzzy stuck out wide. Cannot have two target men and force one of them to play on the wing. I think he was played out wide to win headers against their dwarf left back. However when he did flick it on, the others where miles away. I would say that if we insist on 433 then Akins should have started. If Enoch and Muzzy are in the same team it must be 442 from the start of the game.

We have a problem at the moment in that we can't keep expecting midfielders to score. There will come a time when their goals dry up, and that is when your strikers have to do their jobs by scoring.
Unfortunately at the moment with Enoch looking well off and Muzzy untried, that doesn't look likely.
