After Rovers earned a hard fought home point against early pace-setters Sheffield United on Saturday, we are asking you to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match from the game.......
After Tranmere earned a hard fought draw at home to newly relegated Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon, we are asking you to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match for the game.
After Rovers had fallen behind in the first half to a stunning long range goal from Blades captain Nick Montgomery, Rovers battled back to dominate the second half and got a deserved equaliser ten minutes from time thanks to a superb header from substitute Joss Labadie.

Been trying to decide this for ages. Finally gone for Buchanan. Great signing and Leyton orient will be gutted they missed out on him!
Also thought Andy Robbo and Devaney had great games.
They all performed well Robbo and Devaney and Buchanan even Tiryaki put his contribution towards the overall effort of the team but one not mentioned or singled before was Owain Fon Williams he held his own with his contribution so he`s my pick
but they were all winners on Saturday. Onwards and Upwards
Why would Orient reccomend him? That doesn't make much sense on face value, because they'd have no real reasons to do Tranmere any favours, considering they have neither a bosom buddies or a mutual loathing relationship.
Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
Okay, but why tell us about him? They could keep shtum knowing Tranmere might finish lower down than them, but with him finish higher
Also if Bakayogo had played and not got a goal or an assist, Tranmere woudl be 3 points lower down on 4 points and people would be winging at Les again, for having a points a game average, that would relegate you.
I don't mind Orient telling us about players like him if they want, because he's class.

Bigmart is right! It's on Les's latest interview on Tranmere Player. Russell Slade rang Les up and said "we have a lad local to you who is worth a look but we can't do anything with him right now.. Take a look at him" So it appears we did and then he scored against them!!
Oh I don't doubt that happened, but what advantage does that give them? Tranmere have had a nothingy kind of relationship to them, so why do Tranmere any favours, unless they think Tranmere will get promoted and they cna buy or loan a few cast-offs.
Alternatively let Tranmere have Buchanan, then try to poach Enoch in May.
He's a class signing, but I'm not sure of their motive for letting Les know. It surely can't have been purely for Buchanan's welfare could it?

That's probably exactly what it was. Manager's do care about players, they don't want to see them unempoyed. Especially if he was at Orient, has got to know him as a person, he may just want to help him out.
Fair enough. I was just covering all the bases. I certainly wasn't insinuating tha Russell Slade is a devious game player.
Good to see that this kind of thing does happen, but I do find it funny as someone else posted, that people wouldn't do that at Premier league level.
Imagine Owen Coyle ringing up David Moyes and telling him they've got a 40,000 Euro a week German, who played against a Championship side and looke reasonable, but not good enough for them, would he like them.
Then pass it off as one Scotsman doing a fellow Scotsman a favour. Old boys network and all that.
I can't see that somehow.
