As the 2010/11 season ends, the time has come for you, the readers of this site to vote for our end of season awards in four different catergories with numerous contenders in each catergory.....

Following the final game of the season at home to Swindon Town last Saturday, it’s time to ask our readers for their end of season award votes through a number of web polls with the results to be announced in a couple of weeks time.
Whilst Tranmere have already conducted their own official poll to find their Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season (won by Enoch Showumni and Dale Jennings respectively), we have found in previous seasons that the results of Total Tranmere’s end of season votes can often produce different results to the official awards.
The awards we are asking you to vote on are as follows:
Player of the Season
Despite the season on the whole being a struggle against relegation, there are a number of players that could win the award for Player of the Season for 2010/11 including Enoch Showumni for his goals, Dale Jennings for his moments of magic and terrorising of opposing defenders and Ian Goodison for his usual solid contributons.
Add in captain John Welsh, the earlier efforts of Ian Thomas-Moore and the performances in goal of Tony Warner in the latter part of the season and there are plenty of players to pick from.

The poll below lists all those players who have started ten matches or more in all competitions during the course of the season.

Young Player of the Season
The young player of the season award gives the chance for one of the younger players in the squad who may miss out on the main award, to get some recognition for their contribution during the season.
Obviously the first name to spring to mind for most this season will be Dale Jennings who has at times set League One alight with some of his performances but that should not detract from other candidates including Aaron Cresswell, Michael Kay and Ashton Taylor to name just three.

The poll below lists all those players aged 21 or under at the start of last season who have started ten or more matches for Rovers during the course of the season.

Goal of the Season
There have been a number of great goals this season for Rovers and we have put together a shortlist of eight below for you to vote on and just in case you can’t remember the goals we have provided a little reminder of each below:
Labadie vs Brentford (A) – Collected the ball just inside the Brentford half and ran a little before unleashing a long range shot into top left corner.
Cresswell vs Orient (A) – After a corner is cleared the ball falls to him around 35 yards from goal and he sends an unstoppable strike into the top left corner.
Jennings vs Bristol R (A) – His first senior goal for the club as he turned, in very little space and launched a shot into the top of the net.
Jennings (1st Goal) vs MK Dons (H) – After cutting inside his man on the left of the penalty area he curled a peach of a shot into the net (Cowshed End).
Jennings vs Plymouth (H) – Picking up the ball just inside the Plymouth half, he beats defender after defender before finishing low into the bottom corner (Kop End).
Welsh vs Walsall (A) – Showunmi fairly wins a challenge with the Walsall keeper on he edge of the area and the ball falls to Welsh 40 yards out. Welsh lobs the ball into the goal as the Keeper scrambles.
McGurk vs Bournemouth (A) – Akins makes good ground down the Tranmere right and feeds McGurk some 25 yards from goal. The striker smashes the ball in off the crossbar to score his first Rovers goal and win the game in the 94th minute!
Goodison vs Carlisle (H) – Goodison collects the ball some 30 yards from goal and unleashes a cracker into the top left corner of the goal to leave Prenton Parl stunned!
