After Tranmere's second successive victory, this time at home to struggling Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday afternoon, Manager Les Parry insisted his side were deserved winners of the game.....

Tranmere Manager Les Parry was delighted with his side's 2-0 home win over fellow relegation battlers Dagenham and Redbridge in N Power League One on Saturday afternoon...

Speaking to Tranmere Player, Parry said...

"It was all about the result today, the performance was irrelevant. But it was nice to get a decent performance as well as the result."

"We created a lot of chances and Cresser has put some great balls into the box. There will be lads who are disappointed they've not put something on the end of them."

"Enoch's only other headed goal was an own goal when we lost at Peterborough, so hopefully he'll take some confidence from that and get some more.  Our lads stuck to their task and I think we were deserved winners."
