American investment company could take control of Tranmere Rovers within "a matter of days"

American investment company Club 9 Sports could conclude their takeover bid for Tranmere Rovers Football Club within a matter of days, according to a statement on the companies Facebook page.
The statement, in response to a question by a Tranmere fan, reads "The deal will certainly be sorted in the next few weeks - if not days. We recognize that we'll soon be in the time period when fans and supporters make decisions about next season. Therefore, it must happen very soon."
In response to another question, the company also outlined, briefly, their plans for Tranmere Rovers if they do take control of the club, writing "In short, improving the club for the long-term with key investment and management focus on business operations, pitch performance and international player development. If we can get the deal finalized, we'll be anxious to share the plans with all. Thanks."
This is the only information Total Tranmere can find on the takeover bid, but we will keep you as up to date as possible with any further information we receive.

I honestly don't know what to think. Part of me actually wants it to happen, because if rumours are to be believed Les will get a new deal and the budget will be cut again. This will mean another season of awful, horrible football. Maybe these guys can enable us to attract better players, and install a new manager with fresh ideas.
However, I would be worried they might lose interest quickly, asset strip etc etc
) chasing some carrot, but they are saying all the right things.

. We go languish in the basement for a couple of years and we come back and get flipping hoofball! Ok same could be said for us but seriously you're better than that!

Nah I think they look at it as being rid of a pure retard. "Big things are happening at TRFC" - well PJ I've been "watching" this fecking space for twelve months and still f*** all has happened.
Whilst the yanks are saying everything right it's still no good as theirs no formal plans.
Under PJ we are destined for relegation to the fourth tier (if not non-league) but their will always be a TRFC.

I get the impression that they were waiting for us to be safe in L1 before concluding the deal.
