Tranmere Rovers host Notts County on Saturday afternoon in N Power League One, so for all the latest news and match updates, and all the pre, during and post-match discussion, don't forget to check out our Match Discussion thread............
For those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, particularly the high number of costly and time consuming southern away games, we at Total Tranmere will be providing a Match Discussion Thread on the Site for every Rovers game.
The thread will allow you to discuss everything from the pre-match build up and starting line-up to the game it as it progresses and the post-match analysis.
Where possible, Total Tranmere staff will post up the starting line-up and substitutes on the thread as soon as it is made known at the game.
Tranmere of course host Notts County on Saturday afternoon in N Power League One so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on.
Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.
You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the league as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been along to the game.
What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.
Admin staff will try and add the team and updates on the game on this thread where possible but these details are updated also on our Twitter Page throughout the game so if you're not following us already why not do so at www.twitter.com/totaltranmere.
strange ain't it,we County men also need to take all three points, then of course we needed them against Walsall last Wednesday night......but both sides played like mobs of untrained school kids, result 1-1`.
Previous we played the mighty Man.City and matched them, actually we should have won but the Premiereship ref seemed to be there to even the match up so they had a chance against us.....another draw ??????.....we wus robbed....honest .
So if we play like Walsall, expect a draw,BUT if we play like city....you're in for a 7-0 thrashing..............Either way enjoy the game, lets hope nothing blows off you roof during the match.
The picture doesn't do it justice. The opposite side of the pitch towards the cowshed was the worst. Not only was there a giant puddle hidding the corner flag but the entire side was just awful.
The ref did the right thing in more ways than one. We were awful today for the 53 minutes of play, we weren't up for it and if it had of continued, we would have been beaten again. On a more serious note, I hope that hasn't done a lot of damage to the pitch because that will seriously affect the way we play for the rest of the season.
We were bad yesterday I know the pitch was bad but for the time play went on Notts played well(considering the conditions)they seemed to be up for it the only one on our side must have been the spirits of a Blackfoot Indian medicine mendoing the raindance at the back of the Kop stand so we live to fight another day and with hope we turn up and play football with out all the hoofing of the ball and turn this result around ,off the topic a bit were do we get our ball boys from I am sorry but I do think they are to young some timesthey do not seem to be up for it.
i was at the game with mates on a stag do. U would have noticed us as the dafties wearing the morph suits! was sum laugh. when the game got called off me then a few mates did a Klinsmann dive onto the waterlogged pitch! went for miles what a buzz!! does anyone out there have any footage of it???? Ryan, Glasgow.
The ballboys do come from Shaftes. The weather and surrounding areas were very tricky and they were told to stay off the pitch as well by the ref.
The ballboys are out on the perimiter in all kinds of weather including the cold and rain.
And you have just noticed them, then in the past, they must be doing a half decent job.
They are there for reserves and youth cup games. Are you?
If they didn't do there job as good, well just one of those days.
Ageism shouldn't come into it.
Ask Mikey, I believe he was a ballboy at a very young age and continued till his mid teens.
Andy Gray is a striker that about 20 years ago, had a fleeting and fairly unsuccessful stint with some non-league minnows called Cheltenham, who are good enough now to have players earning more than him .
Oh wait he's earning nothing right now to my knowledge, so even a 13 year old paper boy earns more than him .
Deadly Submarine I agree that its a thankless task at times and they definitely must have been doing well for people not to comment in the past.
I think it's gone a bit downhill since Mikey and Dani finished though personally
I'll give you Mikey, but Danni?, I'll be talking to you about that one!
Tis true! 'Tis true!
Dani did manage to get a Luton player booked though once.. and remember that arguement with the Nigerian 'keeper from Crewe (i think) Reserves who blamed Dani kicking a stone for the reason he conceded goal
On saturday when is tranmere vs notts country being reranged is there going to be a refund on your tickert it was raining the hole of the night they had fans alright about it but some might want refunds the jacko said the match was being arange next tuesday
Got a deal on Talksport so fast? I'm not saying he couldn't but darn that's fast. They must have been hanging around the Sky backdoor in an unmarked car, waiting to talk turkey .
