What is your name and how old are you?

My name is Jack Langford aged 15.

How long have you supported your team and what made you choose them?

I have supported Rochdale all my life and have been going to Spotland since the age of 4, I chose the Dale because they are my local team!

What are your views on the current manager?

Keith Hill has done an incredible job, he picked up the side when we were dangerously near the relegation zone and took us to 1 place below the play offs in half a season of being in charge. In his second season he took us to the Play Off Final where we narrowly lost to Stockport County. The next season we reached the play offs for the second year running and lost in the semi-finals to Gillingham. Also last season he led us to an incredible promotion for the first time in 39 years, that was when the 1st man walked on the moon! He has established an incredible working partnership with assistant manager David Flicroft and they have been the best management partnership the club has ever had!

If you could have one past player back in his prime who would you have and why?

I would have to say Grant Holt, a fantastic striker for the club, scoring a lot of goals for the club and vital ones. Since then he has played for Nottingham Forest and Shrewsbury Town where he has continued scoring goals. Currently he is playing for Norwich City where has been instrumental in their promotion last season and having a great season now in the Championship. Also Rickie Lambert was fantastic for the club and was one of the best players the club has recently seen. Rickie is fast becoming a Saints legend now and is arguably their best player!

What is your greatest memory of supporting your club?

My greatest memory from supporting the club will have to been promotion last year! It was such a fantastic season, despite not winning the title when we really should have done after being top for so long! It was still an amazing achievement for us to finally get out of League 2 'The Rochdale Division!'

If I was in charge at your club as Manager or Chairman what changes would you make?

I would definitely get rid of Anthony Elding, possibly the worst player I have ever seen to wear the Dale shirt! Also, I would bring in a quality striker to partner O'Grady as I don't believe Akpa Akpro or Elding are that good upfront! Also we need to buy a keeper as we haven't had a keeper that isn't on loan for ages!

What expectations do your team's fans have for this season?

Simple, just to stay in the division, the only time we have got promoted we came straight back down! Certainly don't want a repeat of that! I think mid table mediocrity would be great for us! Anything more would be greedy!

AWAY DAYS

What are the best and worst away grounds you have visited to date and why?

Have to say going to Brighton earlier this season wasn't a very nice stadium a tall miles away from the pitch because of the running track, also the Don Valley isn't a nice ground to visit! Accrington isn't a very nice ground but it was where we effectively sealed promotion! Best away ground I have visited with the Dale will have to be Wembley! Great ground, great day out despite losing!

Have you ever visited Prenton Park before and If you have what are your views?

Yes went a couple of seasons ago when we lost in JPT in extra time, very nice ground! Quite a few there considering it was a night match and seemed to be a good atmosphere, but it was bloody freezing!

LEAGUE 1

Who do you think will be promoted/relegated from league 1 this season?

I dearly hope we wont get relegated this season but we will be considered one of the favourites. I think Dagenham and Redbridge will be relegated. I have backed Brighton from the start to get promoted and I think they will, with the type of football they played against us!

Where do you think your team will finish this season?

I think mid table or just below, its our first season outside league 1 and I cant have any higher expectations.

Where do you think Tranmere will finish this season?

Don't think they will reach the play offs, wont get relegated, like the Dale I think they will be mid table.

GENERAL

On past experience what do you think about Tranmere as a club?

Seems a well organised club, with a few rising stars such as Dale Jennings and a good fan base home and away.

THE MATCH VS TRANMERE

Who is your team's man of the match this season and for this game?

It would have to be Chris O'Grady as he was incredible last season and has bagged a few goals this season. He is a constant goal threat and will be a challenge for the Tranmere defence! Gary Jones our captain is also a fantastic player but he is getting on a bit now but still has the ability to change a game!

Your Prediction for the game against Tranmere?

I think it will be close but I think Dale will come out on top even though we haven't been in great form recently. 2-1 Dale, O'Grady and Kennedy with the goals for the Dale, Jennings for Tranmere.
