A reminder for all readers to vote for your TRFC Player of the Month and Goal of the Month this time for the month of November following on from Dale Jennings’ clean sweep of the awards during October....

With over a week of voting already having taken place, we are bringing you a reminder of your chance to vote for your TRFC Player and Goal of the Month for November with the results to be announced sometime next week....
November was a mixed month for Rovers on the whole as they exited the FA Cup at the first round stage away at Bournemouth thanks to a horror-show of a start to the game but then recorded three successive wins for the first time in a long time before ending the month with a narrow home defeat.
First up in November was a Tuesday night trip to Carlisle and after both sides had missed a penalty, with a rare spot-kick miss for Ian Thomas-Moore, the home side went on to record a 2-0 win as Rovers failed to get into the game.
Next up was a disappointing FA Cup draw which sent Rovers to Bournemouth in the first round and after a disastrous start that saw Les Parry’s men fall 3-0 behind after just seven minutes, Rovers rallied and goals from Aaron Cresswell after the goalkeeper allowed his poor free-kick to go straight through him and an Ian Goodison header at the back post brought Rovers to within a goal by half-time.
Just after the break another Cresswell free-kick went straight to the goalkeeper but this time he fumbled it and Ian Thomas-Moore netted the rebound to level at 3-3. The drama wasn’t over there as Bournemouth hit back quickly with two further goals to eventually win 5-3 and send Rovers crashing out.
Rovers responded well to that defeat by subsequently keeping three clean sheets as they beat Bury 1-0 in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy thanks to an early Ian Thomas-Moore strike after they had been re-instated to the competition.

This was followed up a few days later with a 1-0 home win in League One over Plymouth Argyle thanks to a wonderful solo goal from Dale Jennings and then a 1-0 away win at Notts County thanks to Enoch Showumni who scored with Rovers only shot of the game.
The month of November though, ended where it had started with a disappointing defeat and this time at home to Hartlepool United.
So after that round up of the month just gone which started and ended with defeats for Rovers but in the middle saw a solid spell of results, the time has come to vote.
