Tranmere's Johnstone Paints Trophy game against Huddersfield is postponed

Tranmere Rovers' Johnstone Paints Area Semi-Final match against Huddersfield Town, due to take place tonight, has been postponed due to the cold weather conditions.
The match will now be played at Prenton Park on Tuesday 7th December, a week from today, 7.45 kick off.
An early pitch inspection was called for by Tranmere last night, with a local official inspecting the pitch at 9am this morning and deciding that due to the snow and icy conditions, the game could not go ahead.
With more snow forecast for the weekend, Tranmere's League One game against Exeter on Saturday is also in doubt, whilst Tranmere's reserve game against Accrington Stanley, due to be played tomorrow night, has also been postponed.
The postponement of the fixture gives Tranmere's injured players, particularly Enoch Showunmi and Marlon Broomes, the chance to get fit and train before Rovers' next fixture, however boss Les Parry yesterday stressed that the club haven't trained outdoors for sometime, so getting players prepared for matches is tough.
