Tranmere Supporters Trust Announce AGM Date

The Tranmere Supporters Trust will host it's AGM this coming Saturday before the Tranmere v Plymouth Argyle game at Prenton Park with all trust members welcome to attend.....
The Tranmere & Wirral Football Supporters’ Trust (The Trust) is to hold its Annual General Meeting on Saturday 13th November 2010. The meeting will be held in the Belmont Suite at the rear of the Bebington Kop stand at Prenton Park. The meeting starts at 1.00pm
The Trust has had a busy year, with events including the "Les Aid" initiative and the free Heritage Pack campaign to promote the sale of season tickets at Tranmere Rovers. I n the last 12 months the membership of the Trust has grown to over 2500.
All those supporters who bought shares during Les Aid and also those who completed the application forms for the Heritage Packs have automatically been given membership of the Trust.
Members new and old are encouraged to attend the AGM, where they will have a chance to influence the future plans and activities of the Trust. The agenda of the meeting will be as follows:

1. CHAIRMAN'S REPORT
2. FINANCIAL SUMMARY
3. THE CONSTITUTION OF THE TRUST
4. TRUST BOARD MEMBERSHIP
5. FUTURE PLANS AND THE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CLUB
6. ANY OTHER BUSINESS
The Trust is also continuing to promote their new monthly lottery, the 500 Club, which offers supporters the chance to win up to £1250. Proceeds from the 500 Club will go towards future initiatives to support the football club. The 500 Club is limited to the first 500 applicants, who pay £5 per month, with a possible prize fund of £1250. Further details can be obtained by e-mailing 500club@twfst.org.uk
The latest winner of the 500 Club, which was drawn on the pitch during the halftime interval of the recent MK Dons game by Ash Taylor and Alan Mahon, was John Fisher, who won approximately £295.00.
The Trust also presented Ash and Alan with two training bikes to assist with the rehabilitation of injured players. These were purchased with the proceeds of the first few 500 Club draws.

Try to help increase supporter base (Season Ticket Initiative)
They work WITH the club as OPPOSED to them - LR seemed to try and stop any kind of fan representatives helping the club.
Their overall aim though is too have supporters represented at board level though, at the club.
(I'm not part of the Trust - this is just stuff I know from speaking to them - they've certainly been in the press a lot over the last 8 months or so and the stuff they're trying to do seems positive)
One of the ideas doing the rounds, is should our home end be the cowsheds?
I fully support this idea!
This is what the Trust is for. Somebody should push this idea from the forum and the Trust for all cowshed exiles, that can't sit in the cowsheds now.
Can somebody write a report on what is happening from the Trust please.
As for the Cowsheds. the fans wanted it the way it is now so it's gonna take a lot for the fans to get it altered again.
Wasn't their meant to be some kind of vote on it, or something.
the Bebington Kop stand was full and other games in the past in cup ties it is good to see the SWA filling the kop end we do not want to take steps back lets hope in the future more investment may come along and bigger gates return in the league lets keep the home fans in the Bebington end do not want to see the stand full of away (6000)fans . I know it`s a big ask but KEEP THE KOP FOR THE SWA.
. I think the idea of returning to the cowshed was raised by PJ to save him money saves closing Prenton Road West and allowing away fans to leave their coaches and straight into the Kop stand.
