Tranmere Rovers have today announced some of their pre-season plans, with seven fixtures already scheduled for the summer and more likely to follow in the coming weeks. So far one youth team game and two days which see two simultaneous games have been confirmed....

Tranmere Rovers have today announced part of their pre-season fixture list, with the Wirral side potentially hosting a Premier League side at Prenton Park.

The fixture list has been released a lot earlier than usual, with seven fixtures announced already, although Tranmere will play two fixtures on both July 13th and July 17th.

The list of games though is far from complete, with a number of fixtures no doubt hinging on whether Tranmere retain their League One status for the 2010/11 season.

Tranmere will Face Marine in Pre-Season

One of Tranmere's fixtures will be at home to Nottingham Forest, managed by Billy Davies, who could be a Premier League club should they progress through the play-offs this month.

Rovers will also travel to non-league side Mansfield Town, as well as playing their usual local friendlies against local non-league sides.

As of now, the Pre-Season fixture list looks like this:

Tuesday July 13th: Heswall (A) and Cammell Laird (A)

July 16th: Holyhead Hotspurs (A)

July 17th: Marine (A) and Colwyn Bay (A)

July 21st: Nottingham Forest (H)

July 24th: Mansfield Town (A)

Games in BLUE are likely to be a Youth Team fixture

Good to see a couple of different fixtures to normal as well as the usual local games. Wonder who else we'll play? Perhaps Liverpool again?

i think we have to play them due to the reserves using our grond but dont hold me to that lol

hopefully no one like shrewsbury at home what was that about

i would like to see man city reseves still got world class players robinho lol when he back

Now that Chester have more or less sorted themselves out.
A friendly(ahem) against them, would give them a real financial boost.
About time we visited the Deva again!
