Friday, 2 April, kick off 7.45pm and be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
The
match was originally scheduled to take place a day later but will now be a part
of Sky’s live coverage over the Easter weekend.
Chief
Executive Mick Horton said: “This is an excellent chance for us to show what we
can do in front of the television cameras.
“It is a
big game against the side currently top of the division and hopefully we will
get a good crowd at Prenton
Park.”
Money spinner for sure but it will affect the attendance. I know it out ways the money off the telly. But less people means less noise and we need the crowd for the big games. But Friday night game normaly brings more people
One of only two Friday night matches this season and some much needed cash too. Think this is good for the club, and our publicity - our second match on Sky and third on TV all season which is almost unprecendented!
Hopefully we'll get a booster crowd as it's Norwich, but they'll probably bring less now because it's on a Friday night.
