I have supported Pools since I was around 11 years old and the only reason I ended up supporting them was because of my Dad. From then on, despite flirtations with local neighbours, I have remained loyal to the blue and white of Hartlepool.

I must correct you.  What Hartlepool United currently employ is a, money saving, Director of Sport runs everything situation.  With old legend Chris Turner buying, selling and picking the team we no longer have a Manager but sadly, fans have not taken kindly to Chris Turner returning in this way.

His track record at Sheffield Wednesday and Stockport was not favourable and now we have been left with him, the bad results have been coming since way back last season when Danny Wilson was sacked.  We remain behind him though.

Joe Allon. Right now we have Adam Boyd, James Brown and Denis Behan mainly occupying our striking force. Whilst all 3 have a certain amount of talent, they are not a potent goalscoring talent like Joe Allon was.  Enough of Adam Boyd's fancy and right now, damn right useless trickery, just bang the ball in the net please.

Going to the Millenium Stadium to watch our little team come up against Sheffield Wednesday with the prize; a place in the Championship.  Also, beating Tranmere in the play-offs was fairly magical.  There still remains, only one Ritchie Humphreys. (Scored winning penalty against Tranmere second leg of Play Offs).

Install a fresh and ambitious new Manager to get the interest from the fans back.  Enough of this stale Chris Turner malarkey and get someone fresh in. Also, make sure the ground belongs to the club.

Some wanted play offs.  Some were naive enough to maybe believe that 11 signings automatically gained you play offs.  Part of the problem is that we have signed untested foreign talent or a few none league fodder who are trying to make their way back up.  Take Armand Bjornnson for instance, big gangly striker who, so far, has done nothing but fall over.

Millenium Stadium for size but my favourite ground has to be Burnley's Turf Moor for the character and atmosphere there. Worst must be Accrington Stanley's little shed of a ground. Although, Poolies can't talk, Victoria Park is hardly Wembley.

I have been 3 times now and it is a steady League 1 ground to be proud of. The stands are impressive and the fans are generally good banter.

Leeds United, Southend United and Huddersfield to go up and there are enough bad teams in this division for atleast 8 teams to make up the relegation zone right now.

13th - Another season of mediocre rubbish.

A club of highs and lows would probably not look too out of place in the Championship with good attendances. I would never bet on them being promoted automatically though.

James Brown for Hartlepool because when he performs he is nearly unplayable but sadly he drifts in and out of games and that could be why he will not go any higher than the Championship.

1-1 - a draw played out in terrible conditions. Boring.
