I have supported Bury Football Club since the year 2003, when I was 11 years old. It was a decision I took because of my mate, who has been a life long Shaker, so I wanted to jump on the bandwagon an all, instead of being another glory hunter like many are around this area.

I think Alan Knill has done wonders at Bury since he came in, turning a relegation threatened team into a promotion pushing team. His ‘pass it, don't hoof it' method has really excited fans and its fantastic to watch.

From living memory, I can only recall a few past greats that have left the club recently, players such as David Nugent, Simon Whaley, Colin Kazim-Richards and Nicky Adams (debatable haha) have really lit up Gigg Lane. So, my answer would be David Nugent.  

There hasn't been that many ‘great memories' since I have started supporting the Shakers, but the best season I have witnessed, would have to be the 2008/09 season where we came one goal away from automatic promotion and lost unfortunately to Shrewsbury in the play-offs.

First and foremost, money needs to be pumped into the club, we have a squad size of 23 and the reason behind this is that, basically, there is a lack of funds.  Secondly, I would increase the size of the squad.

Expectations around Gigg Lane are at a quite high level this season, its doesn't come to much surprise after the display we put out last season.  Alan Knill has brought in some class such as Ryan Lowe, Danny Carlton and David Worrell this time around so we are hoping for more of the same this year around!

I'll be sticking to League 1 and 2 grounds for this question. My favourite ground I have visited would have to be Elland Road (Leeds United), whilst my worst away ground would have to be Christie Park (Morecambe).

Can't say I have ever been to Prenton Park, but when the fixture does come up, I'm sure to be there.

For promotion, my money's on Leeds United, Charlton Athletic, MK Dons and Oldham Athletic whilst for relegation, im going for Wycombe Wanderers, Walsall, Stockport County and Yeovil Town.

Like I said earlier, expectations are high around Gigg Lane so I believe Bury can reach the play-offs and put last year's misery behind us by going one better and gain promotion!

Never really been a big fan of Tranmere, but I do keep an eye on the teams in the North West in the lower divisions such as ours.

I think calling Mike Jones just ‘very good' is an understatement, he is exceptional! The best winger I have seen at Gigg since Simon Whaley, maybe better! Just hoping the big clubs don't come sniffing in January because this lad is irreplaceable to us and our promotion push.

A number of players really, in defence we have Efe Sodje (the best header of the ball I have ever seen) in midfield we have Stephen Dawson (an aggressive midfielder who wont let you have a minute on the ball, a crowd pleaser with his aggressive sliding tackles) and up front we have Ryan Lowe (finished with 18 goals to his name last year at Chester, scored 5 for us already this year).

Obviously, we have Andy Bishop, a player which every club has enquired about since his first goal for the Shakers, but, luckily for Tranmere, he hasn't been at his best for a few months now with injuries and what not, so I think he will be sitting out of this one.
