Moore Post Hereford: "Six Easter Points is Magnificent"

After his side maintained their play-off place with a 2-1 win over Hereford United, Rovers Boss Ronnie Moore was pleased with the job done by the team over the Easter period with a maximum haul of six points keeping them firmly in touch with the play-off places.
After Tranmere saw off virtually relegated Hereford United at Prenton Park this afternoon, Rovers Boss Ronnie Moore was pleased with his side's maximum haul of points over the Easter period....
Moore told Tranmere World....
"It was a scrappy game and we did what we had to do. We never came out of the blocks in the second half. We deserved to win it but it wasn't brilliant.
"We got the result we wanted at the end of the day - six points over the Easter period is magnificent.
"The penalty was a joke - he must be the only guy here who thought it was a penalty. That's killed our clean sheet which is disappointing.
"The sending off...I can see why he did it but I wasn't sure who he was going to send off. I spoke to their manager and he didn't think it was a sending off. I'll have to have a look at it as you don't really want to be losing Goody with three games to go."
