Ronnie Moore was critical of his side's finishing following the 0-0 FA Cup draw at Accrington Stanley. Rovers arguably had enough chances to win the game but failed to take any of them meaning a replay will now take place at Prenton Park a week on Tuesday.

Tranmere Boss Ronnie Moore was left to rue some poor finishing as Rovers drew 0-0 at Accrington Stanley on Saturday afternoon meaning the teams will re-play at Prenton Park a week on Tuesday.

Moore told Tranmere World after the game.........

"We had the clear cut chances in the game, but when you come to places like this in the FA Cup it isn't easy.  They've battled and challenged, made it hard and got in our faces.  But when you have three one on ones you've got to finish them."

Unfortunately for us we didn't and we need to start putting chances away.  They were all scoreable chances with time to think about them."

Ronnie Moore Dugout

"They put balls in our box and we've headed them out. Danny (Coyne) hasn't made a save, their keeper was man of the match."

"We are disappointed we haven't won it as you don't want another midweek game, but we're thankful we're in the draw.  We've got a second chance and we've got to make sure we take it."

"Paul Mullin is a handful but our two centre backs handled him well.  Our whole back four defended well and they didn't have any chances."

Speaking of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy semi-final draw earlier in the day, Moore added....................

"Whoever you got at this stage it would have been hard.  It would have been nice to have got them at home but we'll play them a few weeks before in the league so we'll know plenty about them."

Couldn't agree more of what he's said there but lets do something about it instead of complaining.

To be honest although I was frustrated yesterday, I would be more worried if we weren't creating chances.

Ok nothing seems to be going in at the moment but if that can come right then we are also keeping clean sheets.

Once again we had four chances at least that we should have taken and it must only be a matter of time before something comes good in front of goal?

I hope so anyway.
