Tranmere have today confirmed the news that most Tranmere Fans wanted to hear which is that defender Ryan Shotton will be staying at Prenton Park for a further month following the success of his recent loan spell which has so far lasted for two months.

Tranmere have today confirmed that on loan Stoke City defender Ryan Shotton will remain at the Club for a further month to add to the two month spell that he has already had with the Club.
The news will come as a boost to Rovers Fans who have given the 20 year-old much praise since his arrival at Prenton Park partly owing to the fact that he has already scored three goals in 14 appearances from right-back.

His first Rovers goal away at Huddersfield proved to be the match winner in a 2-1 triumph and the same scoreline at Carlisle saw Shotton net what turned out to be the winner yet again.
Shotton also scored in the 4-3 home defeat to Colchester making him the third top scorer this season in the Rovers squad. He has also been given permission by Stoke to play inthe FA Cup which is another boost to Rovers Boss Ronnie Moore.
Speaking of the loan extension, Moore said....
"I'm delighted to keep Ryan here for a third month. He has been fantastic for us at right back and has fitted very well into the team."
"I'm grateful to Stoke manager Tony Pulis for allowing Ryan to stay with us for longer."
