Deadly Submarine takes time out of his busy schedule to interview Hartlepool fan Peter Wilkinson, before their two sides meet this weekend at Prenton Park. Peter gives his views on Hartlepool, Tranmere, and the future for the two clubs ahead of the game.

The defeat at Cardiff by Sheffield Wed closely followed by our semi final win at Prenton Park!!!

Your worst moment supporting Hartlepool United?

Any of many defeats by Darlington.

In your eyes who is Hartlepool’s All-Time Greatest Player and why?

In terms of quality, Jan Ove Peterson, who was on loan from Brann Bergen.

Jan Budtz, goalkeeper.

Which Hartlepool player can do most damage to Tranmere Rovers on Saturday?

James Brown.

Is Danny Wilson the right man to get Hartlepool out of League One?

Where do you think Hartlepool United will finish this season?

12^th.

Do you think Tranmere will be Promoted/Relegated from League One and why?

Play offs, probably not quite good enough for automatic.

This season Tranmere have both Ian Moore and Godwin Antwi who both featured for Pools last season, what are your views on these players?

Ian Moore always gave 100% and always looked likely to score, sadly he didn’t hit the net that often particularly away from home, sad to see him go.

Antwi is a decent lad who was played out of position at right back too often and undeservedly was a scapegoat for some fans. He did have a nightmare at Crewe late in the season. Seems to be a confidence player.

What is your Prediction for Saturday’s game between the sides?

Hoping for a 1-1 draw.

Any other comments to add?

I’ve enjoyed good banter with your supporters during our previous visits to the Wirral.
