Cammell Laird FC are reporting that they will once again be playing host to Rovers in a pre-season friendly in July as has become tradition in recent years. We will add to the friendly list as and when we get further friendly news in the coming days and weeks so stay tuned to this site.  

Cammell Laird are reporting that they will once again host Tranmere in a pre-season friendly as has been the case for the past few years.

The game is reportedly confirmed as Saturday 12^th July with a 3.00pm kick off at Lairds' Kirklands Stadium and further details including how to get to the Ground and admission prices will be reported here nearer the time.

Last season, Rovers began their pre-season campaign at Kirklands and came away with a 6-0 victory before visiting other local teams, as well as hosting Premier League Bolton and soon to be a Premiership side, Stoke City.

Total Tranmere can also confirm that Rovers will play pre-season games, possibly involving the Reserve and Youth Team players in North Wales with trips to Flint, Colwyn Bay and Buckley Town all planned for the pre-season campaign.

We will confirm each friendly game as news of them comes in so keep checking backas we update the Pre-Season Diary here on Total Tranmere!

I'm away for this one I think but I hope to make most of the rest of pre-season if I can.

The North Wales matches (at least the three mentioned above and possibly more apparently) should be good for me anyway!

Will most probably go to this one,would like to play Rhyl,their manager is John Hulse,an ex-Rovers player,& they are one of the top Welsh sides

Would have liked to see us play Bangor. Get a bit of european opposition in preseason and see Johno too.
