All the pre-match team news and statistics ahead of Rovers' home game against Millwall. Tranmere recently ended there bad run of form with a 1-0 win over Bournemouth while Millwall are in great form following a managerial change early in the season.

Millwall travel to Prenton Park this Friday looking to continue an impressive run of late although they still sit at the bottom end of the table.  Tranmere meanwhile recorded there first win in a while last week and look to continue winning ways.

 

After 16 games Rovers are 5th with Millwall 22^md.  Sitting in the relegation spots.  A win could take Tranmere third but Millwall look to continue an impressive run of form recently with a win at Prenton Park.

 

Tranmere won for the first time in 6 games last week in league 1 but were beaten by Darlington after a poor display, while Millwall won 2-0 in midweek against Bournemouth and drew with Port Vale 1-1 last Saturday at The New Den

 

Millwall who started terribly, are starting to pick up the pace, but The Lions still find themselves a long way off a credible position.  Tranmere meanwhile started well but have just came out of a poor run after winning last week and a win tonight could take Tranmere into third place.

 

The last time the teams met Millwall knocked Tranmere out of the FA Cup quarter finals in a replay match which saw them continue to the final where they where beaten.

 

Ronnie Moore’s men look to solidify a place in the top 6 today while Millwall look to steer clear of relegation following a bad start.  Get behind the lads and enjoy the game!

Rovers will be without Kevin Ellison (ankle), Steven Jennings (knee), Calvin Zola (foot) and Robbie Stockdale (hamstring) for the visit of Millwall but midfielder Paul McLaren could return to action after injury.

 

Millwall:

 

The Lions are likely to be without Tony Craig and Samy Mawene following midweek injuries sustained.  On the positive side for the visitors, Zak Whitbread, Paul Robinson and Ben May should all be fit for selection.
