Directions by Road

Parking:  There is ample parking outside the Stadium and also directly behind the Social Club.

 

From the Wirral and the M53: At Junction 5 of the M53 at Hooton, take the A41 in the direction of Chester.  At the first set of traffic lights after the Motorway roundabout, take a left into Hooton Green (adjacent the Chimneys Public House).  

 

Continue to the end of this road where you will come to a T-junction.  Turn left here and follow this road to the end where there is another T junction.  Turn right here and follow the road for approximately 250 yards.  Take a right turn here for Vauxhall Motors Sports & Social Club. and you will see football stadium immediately to the left of the Social Club.

 

From North Wales and Chester: From the A41 at Hooton, turn right at the first set of traffic lights turn right into Hooton Green (adjacent to the Chimneys Public House).

 

Continue to the end of this road where you will come to a T-junction.  Turn left here and follow this road to the end where there is another T junction.  Turn right here and follow the road for approximately 250 yards.  Take a right turn here for Vauxhall Motors Sports & Social Club. and you will see football stadium immediately to the left of the Social Club.

Public Transport Information

By Train: The nearest station to the Stadium is Hooton on the Merseyrail Wirral Line.  To get to the Stadium a taxi is recommended as the best option as it is some distance away from the Stadium.

Hooton Station is on the Merseyrail Wirral Line and is served by trains from Liverpool and the Wirral every 15 minutes, by trains from Chester every 30 minutes and by trains from Ellesmere Port every 30 minutes.

Where to Eat and Drink

There is a Social Club next to the Stadium that has a Public Bar and there is also a restaurant next to the Social Club serving food.

 

There is usually a Burger Van or Pie and Pasty Shop situated inside the Stadium just near the turnstiles.  Food can also be obtained from the Sandwich Shop opposite the Stadium and from The Hooton on Hooton Road near the Stadium.
