Come on Jose, admit for once that you got it wrong with your team selection last Saturday. Admit it that 'The Fat Paella Man' got one over you again but it is still only two defeats in the last ten,
where we have stuffed them twice in the League and the League is the competition that means more to Chelsea supporters than any other. Champions League, FA Cup and Carling Cup are bonuses to winning a Premiership title in any season and are special competitions on their own. However a second successive Premiership title plus a Community Shield victory isn't that bad of a return in a season and in a League that we have led since September. Jose is quite right when he says 'that Chelsea have not been pressured in the League this season. This season has been easy from the start. By October or November the distance between us and the rest was very, very big. You need to be challenged from the beginning to feel pressure to feel rhe need to improve, and we never felt that.' So that is the League psychology sorted out then Jose. What about the Champions League, FA Cup and Carling Cup then - in that order? How much more pressure do you need when you are playing...... hmmmmm say Barcelona in the Champions Leaque for example? You say that 'Chelsea 'aren't better' than last season. To be better we have to be better psychologically and we didn't improve psychologically.' Well for the Champions League and the Carling Cup on this season's performances you are spot on. But what about the League and FA Cup. The League appears almost without doubt, one more point and the title is retained. Congratulations all round - I doubt it. The Country as a whole doesn't like success although the likes of previous title retainees for example Man Utd were held in high regard, even by the media, despite THEIR manager SAF, being just as arrogant or if not more like you. Don't get me wrong. Chelsea fans love JM for all he has done for us in the last two seasons. But now its time for our 'Special One' to admit when it goes wrong, he is wrong and on Saturday he certainly got it wrong. Not so long ago he made early subsitutions because game plan was not working. Why could he not have done the same on Saturday? When it was evidently clear and obvious how out of sorts the tactics, formation and some of the players were. Making crucial substitutions twenty-minutes from time does not give the new players enough time to bed in to the pace of the match but for the last twenty-five minutes (including the five minutes injury-time), Chelsea battered Liverpool. It makes one wonder what the outcome would have been had these substitutions been made 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes earlier. So Jose, come on and show some humility not just to Liverpool and the 'Fat Paella Man' (as hard as it would be), but for the 30,000 plus Chelsea fans who forked out hard-earned money to support you and the boys and also publicly admit that you dropped a right royal clanger in your team selection. COME ON CHELSEA! 40 YEARS A BLUE!
