Lampard OUT and a Minute's Silence for 'Ossie'

Frank Lampard is OUT of tomorrow's Premiership match at The Hawthorns against WBA tomorrow lunchtime and is rated extremely doubtful for the Champions League clash against Barca in the Nou Camp next Tuesday night.

Although John Terry, Shaun Wright-Phillips and in particular Joe Cole, sparkled on Wednesday night on the day that the King of Stamford Bridge sadly passed away, I really hope that the Chelsea players and staff go gung-ho between now and the end of the season to win all games - League, FA Cup and Champions League - in the style, swagger and the spirit of the '70s Chelsea' that Peter Osgood so epitomized and give ALL Chelsea fans a 2006 to remember!!!

LONG MAY THE MEMORY OF PETER OSGOOD - BORN IS THE KING OF STAMFORD BRIDGE - REMAIN IN OUR HEARTS!!!

Prior to the kick-off tomorrow, there will be a minute's silence so that the travelling Chelsea fans get the first real opportunity to be allowed to pay their respects as one to THE KING and I am sure that the WBA crowd will show their respects too.

Prior to the game against Tottenham next Saturday (11th March) Chelsea Football Club has announced that there will be a 'minute of appreciation' to THE KING, and again it is expected and hoped that the travelling Tottenham fans will show their respects.
