Dids though is on Cup of Nations duty with the Ivory Coast and from a selfish point of view, Dids homecoming can't come quick enough. Since Dids went away, Chelsea's attacking options have been severely limited and reduced. And Dids isn't coming home yet because the Ivory Coast beat Cameroon yesterday 12-11 on penalties, with The Drog scoring the winning penalty.

Having said that, Hernan Crespo will be out looking for revenge after his Champions League final disaster against the Reds last year. Crespo is reported to have said, "I'm ready to go to war with you to win the title. We've established strong superiority over all our Premiership rivals at the top of the league. And if we defeat Liverpool, then it will be match point to Chelsea."

Of course both teams know so much about each other especially with all the Champions League matches that the clubs have been played in the last year or so. These of course added to the League games in which Chelsea have had more success, winning 4-1, 1-0, 1-0 and 2-1 in recent years, unlike the Champions League where Chelsea were unable to score a single goal. Come to think of it neither did Liverpool.

Liverpool's record in the League at Stamford Bridge was improved in January 2004 when Liverpool won 1-0 through a Bruno Cheyrou goal. In sixty-eight matches between the two teams at the Bridge - Chelsea have won 37, Liverpool 16, with 15 draws. Chelsea have scored 124 goals to Liverpool's 71.

Expect another tight game today.
