Now that both clubs conceded their first league goals of the season last weekend - Liverpool two at Birmingham and Chelsea one at home to Villa, maybe this time could be a match where goals are a plenty.

Chelsea's League record at Anfield isn't one that you would want to boast about in the pub to your mates. Chelsea have only won 9 out of 69 matches in the League and have drawn 14. Chelsea have scored 70 goals, just over one a game whereas Liverpool have scored 144. Liverpool have won 46 times.

In the last two years however, Chelsea have won 2-1, with goals from Veron and Hasselbaink and last season 1-0 when Joey Cole scored the winner after coming off the bench.

The highest scoring game at Anfield between the two clubs was in 1946/47 when Liverpool won 7-4.
