New Security Measures In Place at The Bridge

Get there early is the warning from Chelsea in the build-up to Sunday's game against Arsenal. Simply the reason is that in the light of the recent events in London, Chelsea have stepped up security measures prior to entering the ground.

Everybody that brings a bag, rucksack or even a bag with megastore merchandise within will have that bag searched before being allowed to enter the ground.

Ladies that includes you too. Your handbag will not escape attention, whether Chelsea employ an army of female security staff to search Ladies bags remains to be seen. The reason why I say that is when I worked in Security, male guards were not allowed to search female property and Chelsea have not in the past had many female security staff

Chelsea's message is Please Do Not Bring a Bag.
