However elsewhere from the Chelsea camp, representing their respectitive countries. Arien Robben was injured against Romania and is expected to be out for at least four weeks and it has been announced today that our influential right-back, Paulo Ferreira, has broken a bone in his foot, and is expected to be out for at least six weeks. Interesting read this morning in 'The Currant Bun' from their Chief Sports writer, Steven Howard. Basically the article was about Jose and the fact that UEFA has now silenced 'the biggest mouth' in soccer (albeit for two games) and drawing comparisons to Man Utd when SAF was banished from the touchlines in 2003 after a touchline fracas at Newcastle. The article argues how Chelsea will cope in the two Bayern games when Jose is sitting in the stands. Man Utd lost their 13 month unbeaten home run as Fulham won 3-1. Whether the same fate befalls Chelsea remains to be seen. The main reason I mentioned this article was to highlight Howard's last few sentences at the end of his scribe.

He says, 'Please, can we now return to the subject of what happens on the pitch. And, when the final whistle blows, let's acclaim Chelsea's magnificent season. Let's applaud Frank Lampard and Terry for their pivotal roles in it. Let us cheer and stamp our feet when Mourinho holds the Premiership trophy aloft (even if many of us believe Abramovich's limitless funds have been the catalyst).' (Ed. And don't I know it. The stick and jealousy one has had to endure this season LOL).

Howard finishes with, 'But, for the moment, let's have a bit of hush. And that includes you, Jose.'

Although I am not in agreement with Howard's last sentence about Jose keeping quiet, I have to say that Howard's article is probably the best one that Howard and his team has written about Chelsea all season.

Like it or not. 'The Currant' has called its legion of readers to get behind Chelsea and applaud everything that they have done, on the pitch. this season.

Chelsea take a squad of eighteen for tomorrow's match, which incidentally is a 5.15pm kick off, to accommodate once again TV coverage on pay-per-view.

Normally I would predict the starting eleven, but this time I am going to give it a miss taking into account the squad have only been back a day or so, and Bryan Munich is coming up. So knowing JM, who knows who will start? Two things are for certain, there will be definitely no Robben and no Ferreira.
