Social Networking media has been in a frenzy this week with fans divided in opinion as to whether they want Chelsea to lose or draw today and The Portly One gets the boot or a Chelsea win and The Portly One has a stay of execution. Me. I just want a Chelsea win like I do every week and The Portly One out of course.

Today, sees the start of three games in three different competitions – League, Thursday night football away to Sparta Prague and then next Sunday, Brentford at home in the FA Cup.

‘Captain, Leader, Legend, One England Captain’ JT is out with a knee problem.

Cech and Luiz return to the squad from injury and after serving his sentence for bashing the ‘two-bob’ scroat Charlie Morgan, Eden Hazard returns on a high after scoring for Belgium in midweek.

Demba Ba will be masked up after suffering a broken nose at Newcastle last week.

Congratulations to Mikel, Victor Moses and Kenneth Omeruo for reaching the ACN final with Nigeria after a 4-1 midweek win over Mali.

Nigeria will play Burkina Faso in Sunday’s final and hopefully Mikel and Moses will return to Cobham Halls safe,sound and African Champions and be available for selection against Brentford next Sunday, if not before.
