It doesn’t seem five minutes since full-time blew on Sunday evening. I suppose we have been entertained by the media reporting of Clutterback’s antics, allegations and all and sundry including Neil Warnock scything into Chelsea like a combine-harvester chewing up the wheat on a hot Summer’s day.

So it is ok for everybody to slag off JT for his unfortunate choice of words last year, but when a high-profile FIFA ranked referee and a hair-gelled z-list celebrity is accused of the same to Chelsea players – two of them – Chelsea are still the scum of the earth!!

If we get half the game tonight as we did on Sunday, less the drama of an incompetent referee, Stamford Bridge will be rocking at the core of it’s foundations and the armchair football pundit will get their monthly subs worth, twice in four days.

Expect a spectacular wholesale set of changes from both teams. Five of Chelsea’s changes will be forced with Torres, Ivanovic and Captain, Leader, Legend all suspended.

Super Frank and Ashley Cole are injured. Cole took a knock on his troublesome ankle  on Sunday.

Chelsea have drafted youngsters George Saville and Nathan (Ruud Gullit lookalike) Ake into the squad and it is certain that Cesar Azpilicueta (aka Dave) will start at right-back and Danny Sturridge coming in for Torres, although Bobby Di could spring a surprise and start with a fit-again Lucas Piazon.

Reports suggest that Utd will arrive at The Bridge with a similar squad that won at Newcastle in the previous round.

Bobby Di said, “I am not sure if Man United are going to go with a similar team to the one they had against Newcastle or they are going to mix it up.

“It is a bit of an unknown and we will have to wait for the teamsheet, but I am not expecting just a young team, I am expecting a strong team.

“When you play Man United it is always a big game in whichever competition you play in,” Bobby Di concluded.

Lee Mason is tonight’s referee and I will suspect he will attract more attention and scrutiny than some of the more high profile players that will be on show.
