Without Ashley Cole (suspended) and One England Captain JT (knee injury) and the lack of use of new signing Gary Cahill, I am stepping inside the head of AvB and picking the following back five!! Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Luiz, Ferreira/Bertrand as I am beginning to believe that Cahill along with Kevin De Bruyne are NOT AvB signings, but club signings.

So ridiculous I know and thats why I never make predictions because I am usually wrong, but with AvB continually excluding Cahill from the starting XI you can see why I came up with that back five.

The rest of the team can pick itself, including the return of Super Frank, who should take over the Captain's armband from the 'One England Captain.'

Didier Drogba scored twice for the Ivory Coast last night as they beat Equatorial Guinea 3-0 in the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations.

Didier even missed a penalty.

I have my thoughts on the JT/Anton Ferdinand race saga, the FAs decision to strip JT of the England captaincy and the evil wicked media persecution of JT but I am keeping my own counsel.

All I will say is that I hope Ferdinand Snr is mentality prepared for the abuse that will be aimed at him at Stamford Bridge later on this afternoon.

Agree with your sentiments above.

Back four...well...I can see where you're coming from. I'd like to see Ivan on the right, cahill and Luiz...then Bertrand. Thing is, despite the hapless Bosingwa being what he is, he does have pace, and I think AVB's thinking is if the other side have quick wingers then Bos gets the nod. I disagree though, Ivan can handle pace and is the better choice.
