Chelsea have suffered with a lot a bad decisions this season and in past seasons and the last time Mike Dean officiated Chelsea he was so bad, I described him as the worst referee in the Premiership. Yesterday at St James' Park Dean redeemed himself as early as the 4th minute when he showed a yellow card to Liability Luiz for his foul on Ba, when surely a red was warranted and expected.

That decision could turn Chelsea's season around and judging by their first half performance the 3-0 final scoreline doesn't flatter Chelsea because they should and could have been three or four nil up at half-time.

Tim Krul kept up his draw winning performance from Old Trafford last weekend, defying Sturridge, Super Frank from the penalty spot and Sturridge rattled the woodwork as well as missing other gilt-edged chances.

The woodwork was Chelsea's man of the match throughout the game saving the Blues on three occasions, including a thundering Drogba header which crashed the bar above Cech's head.

Pardew's tactical change at half-time from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2 and the ariel threat of Shola Ameobi caused Chelsea more problems than the first-half, although Cech had to save sharply from a Ba flick.

JT, Legend, Leader, Captain and One England Captain led the line brilliantly and showed whatever is going on regarding the racial abuse fiasco hasn't affected his mental state.

JT was in the right place to clear Sammy Ameobi's shot off the line.

Utd's problems increased when Coloccini was substituted with a thigh injury and then in the dying minutes Taylor had to go off with an achilles problem leaving Utd extremely bereft at the back.

Their absences allowed Chelsea to counter with more ease and sub Kalou and the extremely impressive Sturridge benefitted with Chelsea's 2nd and 3rd goals after Drogba had headed the Blues into the lead before half-time, from a cross supplied from the equally impressive Juan Mata.
