No sooner had UEFA's favourite team Barcelona, lifted the 'Corrupt Cup' back in May, a new season of the competition has begun with the draw being in made in Monaco, eve of the Super Cup, Friday, between Barca and Porto, earlier on this evening.
Chelsea have been drawn in Group E and the group is full of reunions.
First out of the pot, pot B, came Valencia (Spain) - Juan Mata's former club.
Out of Pot C was Leverkusen (Germany) - Michael Ballack returning to The Bridge and from Pot D came Genk (Belgium) Courtois' (who is on a season long loan at Atletico) old club and Chelsea target, Kevin De Brunne.
The 'Corrupt Cup' raises no excitement for me, it is just a competition. My attitude will change, if ever, Chelsea win the damm thing, but for me as long as Platini is in charge, that will never happen and UEFA spoke at the beginning of the long-drawn out ceremony of HONESTY, INTEGRITY, FAIRNESS.
Yeah right PAH PAH
