Not only have Londoners had to put up with that Dagenham & Redbridge supporting thug Bob Crowe and his cronies of the RMT and the 24 hour strike on last Tuesday, Chelsea fans and anybody else wanting to travel to Upton Park on Saturday by tube - basically can't get there.
There is no District Line service running on Saturday to Upton Park.
The best advice is don't drive (try a bus) but get to Canning Town and follow the directions to walk as laid out, accordingly.
come on fellas get a grip -- the tube drivers are only trying to save their jobs in the middle fo the worst economic situation since the 1930's -- the working person is getting blamed and footing the bill for the mistakes of the bankers who earn more than any football and never get asked to provide a moral example -- Much as I hate to say it there's more important things than next saturday's game at upton park and in any case, the district lines often closed on w/ends
Yeah, Im travelling over from Ireland tomorrow for the west ham game and luckily I spotted it in the west brom programme notes about the tube closure, oh well, hopefully we will hit another six goals and then i must hotfoot it back to gatwick for evening flight home, the joys of being a footie supporter! C'mon the chels!!
