Chelsea and Portuguese international Paulo Ferreira is doing an Elvis Costello reverse. Apparently both Aston Villa and West Ham could be making a move for the right-back in the summer but Ferreira has made his intentions clear in that he doesn´t want to leave Chelsea.
"I have a contract with Chelsea,” said Ferreira.
"I have seen some rumours in the newspapers but I don't know anything, nor has anyone spoken to me.”
Ferreira has been plagued with injury this season, is currently recovering from a cruciate knee ligament injury and has only made 12 appearances.
"The season was strange for me because of injuries.
"But after the operation I will be perfect for the new campaign."

Ferreira has a contract until June 2013 but was the subject of a bid from West Ham last summer.
Bit in two minds over this one; he has been a good professional for us and particularly reliable in the big games when it comes to marking the more difficult players such as Cristiano Ronaldo. He also has the advantage that he can play at either right or left back.
That said, we do need to be making space for our young players coming through.
