An early start for the Academy on Saturday didn't put the boys off their stride as they strolled to their third win of the season at Bristol City winning the game 2-0 with both of the goals coming in the second-half.

Because of reserve commitments earlier in the week, Coach Ruud Kaiser elected to rest Scott (Who is Theo Walcott?) Sinclair, Ryan Bertrand, Sam Hutchinson and Shaun Cummings. In came goalkeeper James Russell and left-back and Football Icon winner Sam Hurrell for their first appearances of the season.

The first-half was spoiled by rainy, blustery and windy conditions and Chelsea played against the wind. With the wind behind them in the second-half, Chelsea moved up a gear and dominated to the 70th minute when Ben Sahar netted from close range. Five minutes later Sergio Tejera scored his first goal with a 25 yard wonder strike.

With the aid of the wind, Miroslav Stoch hit the bar direct from a corner.

There was going to be another story appearing this evening regarding the Gallas, French Coach and Chelsea saga, but due to circumstances beyond my control, this story was posted on the message board by a 'fan' from a rival board.
