Burnley FC have confirmed another pre-season friendly, with the Clarets taking on Accrington Stanley at the newly named Fraser Eagle Stadium.

The Clarets will once again make the short trip to Accrington for our now annual pre-season friendly against Stanley. The game will take place on Saturday 8th July at the Fraser Eagle Stadium, formerly the Interlink Express Stadium, but more commonly known as the Crown Ground!

 

The annual fixture which has been known to be played either midweek or on a Saturday will thankfully be played on a Saturday afternoon this time around. The fixture has become quite popular with Burnley fans, with healthy numbers travelling to Accrington in recent years.

 

Over the past few years the Clarets have taken strong sides to Accrington and are expected to do the same again against the newcomers to the football league.
