Four Players Transfer Listed

Four Clarets players with one year left on their contracts have been placed on the transfer list following the final game of the season.

Micah Hyde, Gifton Noel-Williams, Danny Karbassiyoon and Duane Courtney are the names that have been circulated to all other clubs.

31-year old Jamaican international Hyde joined from Watford during the close season of 2004 and will always be in the hearts of Clarets fans following THAT free kick against Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup tie at Ewood Park in February 2005.

Noel-Williams, joined the Clarets from Stoke City last summer, ended the season on loan at Brighton and Hove Albion, where the 26-year-old striker scored twice in seven games before the Seagulls were relegated from the Championship. He had not made much of an impact at Burnley and his form at Brigton suggested that the Burnley set-up just didn't work for him.

Karbassiyoon joined the Clarets last summer but has not had much in the way of first team starts following an injury he picked up not long after signing. However, the 21-year-old American has found first team opportunities hard to come by in his first season with the club.

Courtney cost Burnley £25,000 when he signed from non-league outfit AFC Telford in August 2005.
